  1. Getting pelters in Hereford for this. All the lads in the pub had us on their accumulators. Typical. There is still time though, come on!!
  2. It was all over the back page of the local papers here that le Fondre had submitted a transfer request. Coventry want him.

In terms of just the money, yes, you are correct. But we were not gambling the family silver on a direct return to a higher source of income, that was funds assigned to rebuild the club by a benefactor who could easily budget for it.

Yet we have signed Fox, Cork and De Ridder.

No point overspending on a player who currently would compliment rather then directly improve on what we have. Would be extremely dissapointing to miss out on Baldock though, especially as he looks to have a bright future.
  6. I've been on Orange for a year now and i've never had any problems. Everywhere I need to go it works. Seriously.

Christ. Now I almost want to join West Ham! But then I remember that this is a woman who quite literally sold her husband.

Maybe he has heard that they've lost out and wishes to save face..... Maybe,....

As long as Talksport continue to employ that t**t they will never be a serious organisation. They finally got rid of Mike Parry earlier this year, hopefully that idiot will soon follow him out the door.

Now there's a plan we could all appreciate! Well, with Forecast anyway. As someone who sits firmly on the 'Harding' side of the LB debate, I personally feel it would be kinder to send Dickson to a club where he could get regular football without playing potentially third fiddle after the two Dans.

Let us not forget that Lee Barnard signed a contract extension last June..... It would be madness if he went as a makeweight. Beatlesaint beat me to it.

Seaborne wouldn't be going, he is currently a first choice CB. It'll be either Dickson or Barnard........ Most likely Dickson.

If it weakens the franchise i'm happy. Aside from the Skates they are the only entity in football that genuinely makes my skin crawl. The strike he produced against us to make it 2-0 has stayed long in the memory. Thank heavens for Jonno that day.
  14. I'll be controversial and give a serious response. The problem with him was the combination of the hype on here from our own supporters who were impressed with his performances the prior year with Hearts under George Burley and the amount of time it took for that to stew over the couple of months or so it took for him to sign. He wasn't bad, he did a decent job for the team but he just couldn't live up to the artificially elevated expectations many had for him. He wasn't the box to box goalscoring dynamo many had hoped for.... he was just a decent left back and supporting forward.
  15. All that, and yet no-one linked us to Rafael Scheidt.

    No more Jobs

Did Steve Jobs have direct control over their quality/testing department? If not, let the scam continue. If yes, then the user easy yet not exactly exceptional hardware will not be quite as good.
  17. Maybe we are looking at someone to dance their way through the opposition?
  18. I would say (in the nicest posible way) it's naive. You are assuming there is some good in the trolls, they are just there to provoke reaction for their own amusement. The expressions and intent of others are immaterial aside from their own desire for validation.
  19. The more you feed them. The Daleks, the Charlie Waymans etc, the more they will fish. I would personally prefer that a mod deletes this thread, I can assure you Kraken that I mean no personal offence when I say that.
  20. True, but there is no smoke without fire. As you said without the full story an informed decision cannot be made, but with an incomplete story the same can be said. Something is evidently not right with Punch here, there is more then enough circumstantial happenings to show that, why else would a league 1 side loan out a player capable of contributing to a premiership side? Therefore the story should be humanely ended for me.
  21. I would say not everyone: "Nonetheless I feel there is no way back for him, as said further up the thread the bridges seem to have been burnt both ways. A real shame as he has the individual talent to make a real impact... but the team is more important then one man."
  22. He did indeed, yet he has not even been on the bench yet. Hopefully he can play a positive role though.
  23. Towards the end of last year he started to lose his consistency. He started to make silly mistakes and made poorer judgements in terms of his positioning. The goal conceeded at Walsall was a case in point. He can still do a job for us, but I fear he would be exposed/shown up v mobile or intelligent opposition now. I just believe he is nearing retirement.
  24. I believe that incident has been proven to be a myth, i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. Nonetheless I feel there is no way back for him, as said further up the thread the bridges seem to have been burnt both ways. A real shame as he has the individual talent to make a real impact... but the team is more important then one man.
