  1. You've got to love this guy really. From the Jack Dee school of comedy. (No, not Peter Symonds' College.)
  2. A shame this has fallen through, oh well. Onwards and upwards. The Elliott Ward incident had crossed my mind too, especially after seeing the reports on Sky and the BBC before the club had revealed our interest before anything official.
  3. The anticipation of the event is always more exciting then the event itself.
  4. I was more thinking Jakobsson.
  5. Sounds familiar.
  6. That's the thing. There is no way any of the individuals concerned would have actively wanted to harm the club.... but their actions... Their intentional actions did. The road to hell is after all paved with good intentions.
  7. #Awaits Dalek's pesimistic viewpoint#
  8. Oh god I havn't heard that track for ages.
  9. Good luck to the guy. Just didn't get a look in when we went for experience rather then potential. He did well for us at Wembley, like Paul Wotton.
  10. He just about held on for me. I wouldn't want him to undergo that kind of 'attention' on a regular basis.
  11. A very fair point. I don't, I'm just taking it on trust that it is the Simon Clifford's twitter account.
  12. Could this be worth putting as a news article? It may not be relevant to our immediate circumstances but as a revelation about the prior running of the club this is staggering.
  13. In other words, eaxactly what we needed Danny Seaborne to be on Saturday.
  14. "Had I been Harry and Co I would have hated me too." I wonder, had Rupert actually bothered backing Harry Redknapp.....
  15. That is utter lunacy. Thank heavens Rupert never had the chance to implement it.
  16. Obviously a man with a very large chip on his shoulder. He owns Garforth FC in the northern premier division, fancies himself as a youth coaching revolutionary. Was involved here while Sir Clive Woodward was in the coaching team. His protege Jason St Juste was on the playing staff here at the time.... I wonder what became of him.
  17. Has any thought ever been given to allowing stadium models to be user editted? Obviously there could be issues when it comes to stadium expansions etc but as a starting point having the ability to have a realistic looking St Mary's and other stadia would certainly be a plus for the 3D match engine.
  18. Completely agree. I would suggest that Adkins' problem is balancing our delicate football with the direct impact that is sometimes required against certain sides. We really missed a big old lump at the back today. I miss Jaidi.... well the younger Jaidi.
  19. All credit to Millwall, their game plan was spot on but the through ball to Guly was just too good. Our corners were awful, that needs work and we need a plan B in case of coming across a side like this. The Lions targeted Seaborne as a weak link but all credit he just about held firm. I'm looking forward to Leicester, I doubt they will give us as much bother as Kenny Jackett's side.
  20. Sad news if true. Fingers crossed there is no widow/dependants involved.
  21. Perfect 10.
  22. As a recent graduate in a 'skilled' industry. (Engineering) I know that graduates there would struggle to get in the region of 30k, they would be lucky to get 22k as a starting wage. I would be very curious to know which industries allow for a 30k starting wage for a graduate.
  23. Just nice to enjoy it while it lasts, anything more is just a wonderful bonus!
  24. And if anyone wants out..... bring on the £££££££'s.
  25. Fantastic stuff!
