  1. If we go up I believe he'll still be here. If we don't, bye bye birdy.
  2. Isn't he married already?
  3. Agreed, I'ld be happy with that.
  4. Wasn't that changed to the panelled ball in order to ensure the badge could be registered as a trademark?
  5. 35% support for both Labour and the Conservatives and 20% for the Lib Dems (no swing parameters inserted) reveals the following: Conservatives: 258 seats Labour: 303 seats Lib Dems: 65 seats First thoughts.... If they are to implement AV then the constituencies should also be re-aligned to ensure that they are all proportional to each other. In an ideal world surely equal vote quantities for each party should reflect in an equal number of seats.
  6. Considering that the current badge is basically it's predecessor with some red/gold bits added then Cortese is probably not going all out for a club rebrand for the Leibherr's ownership. The chance to make that mark would have been at the start of this season. If we don't go back to the 1974+ logo I would be staggered.
  7. I'm sure a load of prototype club shields were put together when everyone was speculating over our one off badge for this season. There were some crackers in there. Personally I would be happy with a return to the badge most of us recognise. The fan designed one from the 70's.
  8. My piece of paper has us finishing 2nd, not that I have much confidence in it! haha.
  9. On paper football is so simple. I admire your confidence.
  10. We shall see what wins out, I dearly hope that you are right and i'm just falsely coming over a bit Alpine.
  11. Their unbeaten run gives them that momentum. We still have it in our locker to go to places like Spotland and cave in. They are more resilient then that. I see it as more likely for us to lose a couple then them.
  12. Huddersfield have massive momentum. Based on my predictions above I see that momentum being broken at the Franchise this friday. If that doesn't happen the rest of my prediction becomes academic. Mathematically, yes we can afford one slip.... just one.... a slip at a time when momentum and form is king. A time when we twice have to play to games in a 3 day period. I'm nervous ahead of this run in, I make no appologies for that. Just once, once I would like to see us do things the easy way but I have this horrible feeling that we will labour over it. That Rochdale game really is praying on my mind - Had we won there, 2 games in hand, 3 points ahead I would have really started believing, but no.... we utterly b*llocksed it up. No more trips up, please.... I couldn't stand it.
  13. If only, if only it was that simple.
  14. My predictor results: Orient 1-2 Peterborough MK Dons 2-1 Huddersfield Brighton 2-1 Saints Huddersfield 2-0 Dagenham and Redbridge Peterborough 3-0 Yeovil Saints 2-1 Hartlepool Brentford 1-1 Saints Brighton 1-1 Huddersfield Rochdale 1-2 Peterborough Plymouth 1-3 Saints Huddersfield 3-1 Brentford Peterborough 4-0 Dagenham and Redbridge Saints 2-1 Walsall The table ends: 2nd Saints 87 3rd Peterborough 86 4th Huddersfield 85 The last day and the Plymouth away game will be deal breakers. If Huddersfield win against the Franchise on friday then we will not be able to afford any hiccoughs.
  15. Of course not. Just shows that it can be easier to criticise rather then appreciate what we have. Judging from some of their scorelines I would say it isn't typical. They seem to be perfectly capable of varying their tactics to suit the opposition. Fair play to them.
  16. One word: How?
  17. But we are. We have 21k+ crowds on a regular basis, a 32k stadium, have spent large sums of cash and players wanted by premiership clubs. Our awareness of such facts is arrogance. Who cares about Brighton anyway. They win the league in superb style and are still concerned with the semantics of other clubs, says more about them then their focus.
  18. Harding, some love him, some hate him. This argument will not go away. Oh well.
  19. True, nonetheless I am surprised that he is considered to be the league's best. As you say, it's league one. If these players didn't have these flaws they would be at a higher level.
  20. Full applause in particular to Dan Harding, he has been brilliant this season. Am I alone in being surprised that Kelvin is in there? Yeah he's had a good year but has not exactly been immaculate.
  21. I dissagree. His endeavour, movement off the ball and positioning was absolutely top draw, played a massive part in opening up the Rover's defence time and again towards the end of the game.
  22. It's easy enough to get into. Just imagine a cross between gears of war and final fantasy and you're there.
