Obviously still trying to out-fox the Echo with the timings. Hopefully that means it is something worth with-holding like a player signing/kit launch.
-
At this time of evening/night?

Curiouser and curiouser

If the news is broken at 00.01am, yes! haha.
-
I claim the 17th May.
-
And they say that no one player is worth more then the club the play for. Could we be the first club to bust that notion?
-
We've signed someone. Getting the promo shots and interviews in place..... ....I would guess.
-
Ok, someone fill me in on this one.....
-
So you would expect the Skates to be able to pay the fine then?
-
If Paul Telfer can, Puncheon certainly can!
-
It is a great idea in theory.... but how many of us would actually be willing to sell our collections? Enlarge, maybe, but risk losing items? hmmmm.
-
As futile gestures go, surely fining the skates is up there with asking Alistair Campbell for an unbiased political opinion?
-
It was said in a prior thread that he has one year left on his contract, therefore it is not expiring this summer as many anticipated.

Absolutely. It's all too easy to take criticism of the NHS as a needless dig at the Nurses, Doctors and specialists who provide invaluable help to the nation. The entity that is the NHS is a behemoth of red tap, administrative complexity and apparent self interest.... something has to be done. I could have saved the NHS money as part of my job a year ago, but because the savings would be 'cross department' (The work to illicit the saving would need to have been undertaken by someone other then the department it effected) then it was rejected as it would have been seen as a needless cost. Madness.

Sing up Sky Blues... ...When we sing together, we will never lose. Tottenham or Chelsea, United or Anyone... ANYONE They shant defeat us... we'll fight 'till the game is won. It works very well in a full house. Therefore it's lost it's impact ever since they moved from Highfield Road to the Ricoh.

Apparently it was an away game at Derby County. There was a group of Stokies in a pub near the stadium being a bit raucous so the old bill came in to tell them to shut up. A defiant Stoke fan started singing Delilah (the rude version) in defiance.... it carried over to the terrace for the game and the rest is history. That's the story my Stoke supporting mate claims.
-
Nothing yet, but seeing as i've only applied for a few of the football matches up at the Ricoh Arena I hope it'll be as good as a shoe in.

I've been spending the time with my better half and her little girl. We've had days out to the park, swimming, doing gardening together and appreciating the smaller and more meaningful things in life. God I can't wait for the fixture list to come out.

Talk about shutting the stable door once the horse has bolted.

I understand it more as a constitutional protection for the families of armed forces members should they pay the ultimate price. Perfectly just.
-
The party should be good then, the nibbles will be sensational and the transportation obscene.
-
So, that's Azerbaijan bankrupt then.

Thats the beggars.

Maldova to win. Blue will not get Nul points.

Was on a night out in Coventry a few years ago, the taxi headed back up the Radford road ahead from the city centre and we saw a woman, mid twenties, collapsed on the pavement. The Taxi driver pulled over and I called 999. She was quite incoherent, drooling out of her mouth and had a cut on her forehead. Frankly I think she was wasted and had fallen from the embankment at the side of the road onto the pavement. The Police turned up with an Ambulance about 5 minutes later. As this happened a rather scary looking bearded man appeared and started rabbitting to the police. I let the professionals deal with things from there, the coppers took my name and I walked home. The b*stard taxi driver had however left his meter running.... cost me the best part of 17 quid, I was drunk, there were police there so I paid the **** without fuss and walked the rest of the way home. Was very odd, I never heard anything more about it but was a rather bizare occurance.
