  1. Fleet Town. Paola Hibernian's ground, Malta.
  2. Ha. Bitterness like that can only ever be one persons problem. What an idiot. No grace in defeat.
  3. It said a lot to me that a group of colleagues over from Germany, who were here for one of our bi-annual sales meetings actually respected that our economy had been more steady in recovery then their own. They had grown quicker then us on the way out of recession but all of the financial advisors within the company are now running scared of this dreaded 'double dip.' The growth had yet again been unsustainable. They respected that our government was at least trying to make hard decisions that would ensure any growth was made on stable foundations.... whether this will allow us to be resistant to what happens overseas is another matter though.
  4. Great interview, cagey, tricky, honest yet revealling all in one go. It's been a long time since we had a manager capable of proper mind games. Lets hope they are effective.
  5. And Drew does it again.
  6. I was thinking the same about Hereford v Shrewbury. I'm really looking forward to that one. (I've checked and can't find the East Anglian Derby either..... a great shame.)
  7. Lallana, far more consistent then Chambo at this moment in time. Chambo will learn though.
  8. I would put a mound of dead ducks outside Tony Lynam's driveway, circa May 2009 just when he doesn't want to be late for a meeting.
  9. That Brown even has the nerve to apply for this suggests he hasn't.
  10. Sorry, by posting in this thread you have reserved your place in the queue for 'the chair.' See you in hell fatboy.
  11. After viewing that 'proper fulback' Olivier Bernard in action I am more then happy with a RB that will not venture over the halfway line. Stability will do just fine.
  12. A massive curry feast. Many Cobras to accompany Starter(s): Chicken Tikka and Chicken Pakora Main(s): Chicken Madras, Sagwalla and Jalfrezi with Pillau Rice and a Garlic Naan. Desert(s): Chocolate and Hazelnut Icecream, Mango Kulfi to wash it down. Right, time to call the local curry house.
  13. If we go up I believe he'll still be here. If we don't, bye bye birdy.
  14. Isn't he married already?
  15. Agreed, I'ld be happy with that.
  16. Wasn't that changed to the panelled ball in order to ensure the badge could be registered as a trademark?
  17. 35% support for both Labour and the Conservatives and 20% for the Lib Dems (no swing parameters inserted) reveals the following: Conservatives: 258 seats Labour: 303 seats Lib Dems: 65 seats First thoughts.... If they are to implement AV then the constituencies should also be re-aligned to ensure that they are all proportional to each other. In an ideal world surely equal vote quantities for each party should reflect in an equal number of seats.
  18. Considering that the current badge is basically it's predecessor with some red/gold bits added then Cortese is probably not going all out for a club rebrand for the Leibherr's ownership. The chance to make that mark would have been at the start of this season. If we don't go back to the 1974+ logo I would be staggered.
  19. I'm sure a load of prototype club shields were put together when everyone was speculating over our one off badge for this season. There were some crackers in there. Personally I would be happy with a return to the badge most of us recognise. The fan designed one from the 70's.
  20. My piece of paper has us finishing 2nd, not that I have much confidence in it! haha.
  21. On paper football is so simple. I admire your confidence.
  22. We shall see what wins out, I dearly hope that you are right and i'm just falsely coming over a bit Alpine.
  23. Their unbeaten run gives them that momentum. We still have it in our locker to go to places like Spotland and cave in. They are more resilient then that. I see it as more likely for us to lose a couple then them.
