  1. Shame his role that year was frustrated by injury. When he scored that goal v Crewe in the 05/06 season it was unbelievable. Yet it soon became apparent why he wasn't playing for anyone better.
  2. The best game i've ever had the fortune to be at has to be Saints 4-3 Norwich. It's a shame it was essentially futile, but at the end, once Camara had scored the winner it was utterly amazing. The first half was just total adrenaline...... but that nervous second half, my god.
  3. Started with such hopes that season. It was good while it lasted.
  4. Is 'The Royal Oak' going too?
  5. I thought that was the 'wait until Belmadi comes on then we can give it to him' season.
  6. The five months of Theo I believe. Thanks heavens we never had a 'give it to Jermaine Wright' season....
  7. This particular segment was screened 2 and a half years ago.
  8. So even Tesla themselves say that the car was driven aggresively which caused the battery to only last 55 miles. Not that the test was wrong, just that it's skewed. .....No case to argue then, what did they think that Clarkson and co were going to do with the thing..... cruise at a leisurely 45? It's designed as a Sports car for heaven's sake! Would Mitsubishi sue them with the revelation that the Lancer only gave 3mpg when driven hard on their test track? Top Gear showed that despite their best efforts the Tesla wouldn't be a practical car for day to day use..... indeed, they were actually quite complimentary of the car's raw performance! It was hardly an 'electric car, PAH, must be sh*t then...' type of piece.
  9. Every week I do a trip from Coventry to Bury St Edmunds.... it involves me hitting the worst stretch of A14 around Cambridge around rush hour time. (8-9am) Previously it would always be highly congested, with either an accident of just traffic volume being the offender. Now it's only one in every 4 trips when something goes wrong. The roads are definitely getting quieter.
  10. I suspect it may be guilty...... but I would prefer 'insanity.'
  11. Nothing wrong with being shrewd. It can leave some feeling a bit ripped off, but hey..... it's happened to us in the past and will no doubt happen again at some point.
  12. Lets face it, if you are going to save money releasing academy players is not the answer. Get rid of one key first teamer and you will save more them them all put together in terms of wages. It's what the Skates have done and it has very prudently allowed them to bring in the youngsters to cover for the slight weaknesses in their first eleven in times of financial strain.... ....Oh.
  13. The Birmingham FA (which Coventry falls under) has already adopted segregation for all FA Chartered clubs. We had to lay down a coned line along the touchsides either side of the pitch. (About 3 yards back.) The parents/coaches from either club must stand on opposite sides of the pitch and are not allowed in front of the coned line, only the Coaches and referees are allowed in front of it.
  14. You are extremely lucky.
  15. Not surprised. Many parents get very, very worked up by these kind of games. I personally have been assaulted by a parent for substituting his child during my time as a manager. It would only be a matter of time until something like this would happen.
  16. There is a lot of 'filler' stuff.... differed costumes for the characters, etc... But there are a few extra missions which I have played that have really entertained me, they are: Kasumi - Stolen Memory. Adds another character, 'Kasumi' to the game including her loyalty mission. Overlord Provides you with a mission to track down what's happened in a failed Cerberus experiment. - A brilliant bit of DLC. Lair of the Shadow Broker The best bit of DLC so far. Provides the first steps on towards Mass Effect 3 from 2's core story. Re-introduces a character from Mass Effect 1. Arrival The final bit of story DLC. Will play it through tonight.
  17. We're not, the Cherries are.
  18. The last Mass Effect 2 DLC, 'Arrival' is out today. Should bridge the story between ME2 and 3. If anyone is interested.
  19. Just imagine the guidance he could get from Maradona. "The coke goes in this hole...... No not that one! Oh, ok as you wish young man...."
  20. I lol'd. Oh satan I await your welcoming arms.
  21. Not a recommendation as such, but as a fan of the TV series the Firefly/Serenity story continuation comics have appealled, never have given in to my temptation to give them a go. Also, my new 'favourite' album, 'The Unforgiving' by Within Temptation is a concept album built around a comic series writen specifically to accompany it authored by the creator of Bloodrayne, which I understand is quite a succesful comic series. May purchase that one..... may..... Just can't get past my prejudice of comics being a 'juvenile' type of narrative.
  22. Will do what I can to convince her. Should be booking the friday off work so shouldn't be any rush to get away. Will be good to see you again Hamster.
  23. Within Temptation - The Unforgiving. One of the singles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwji0k8ryQ0
  24. Compared to a two and a half year old toddler, hell yeah. If anything, being about 26 is worse for that, still just about young enough to care what people think if they see you doing something daft.
  25. So... the forum game, Football Aid and the Saints Foundation one. Fans really are spoilt for choice!
