Duplicate post. Ignore.

Connolly was released through injury and despite the success of the signing it was a gamble at the time. Healy isn't getting a game at Sunderland and would be rejoining a former club who will only be one league down from his former level within 5 months. Fonte was sold by a club desperate for cash who are only one league above us and seemingly going nowhere. Scotland is playing regularly for Wigan in the Premiership, has only just joined them and is working hard to succeed there on no doubt very high wages. He is also working for a manager who has mentored him up from the level we are currently at. We wouldn't be able to offer him more money or more prestige. It wouldn't make sense for him to drop down.

Relax, they are only part of the initial tender. They still may not get to host. At least I hope that sham of a 'club' doesn't.

Would love this signing, especially if we beat Leeds to the punch with it!
-
That just wasn't sporting!

OK I'll do it. How many sold for Ipswich

I'm going with the new missus' Brother in Law. should be laugh. 18 quid a ticket is a rather good price I feel. -
Who is our academy manager now? We could offer the best of those lads a decent solution.

Their foundations were flawed, ours are not.

A trophy of any sort is vital in giving this club it's self respect back. I personally would make the JPT our priority with a top half league finish the minimum requirement, with top 10 the aim. Not only would it be a great day out but it would be an awesome platform to build on, any Wembley appearance would be.

Hate to say it, but the Skate's right.
-
He's just been told that he is starting tonight...... ...... In goal.
-
As stated in a response to Merovignian, yes, I realise that completely. Typical skate, selectively reads the bits he can use to belittle people and ignores the parts which can undo his rant entirely.
-
Typical youngster, shooting too early.

Perhaps we are on the verge of securing the services of a new striker and Pato has been advised to look for a new club. He struck me as a very good prospect, but to meet the ambitions we now hold 'potential' is a luxury we cannot entertain in every area, we need the end product A.S.A.P.

Hmmmm, the Holy Gospel states that Lee Barnard has signed for Leeds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Barnard

Always FM. The latest version of CM is more then decent and is a lot better then previous non-SI CM's, but FM is still the absolute daddy.

You are of course right that we would not, and indeed have not been missed too much from the top flight. The pathetic and deluded cries from certain sections of your fanbase along the lines of 'how can the Premiership let this happen' and 'we're too big a club to go bust' will come back to haunt them. The main point I'm making is that the implication that you guys going bust would remove part of the fun of supporting Saints has no grounding at all.
-
I hope the Skates do realise that when they go pop no-one would miss them. Their fellow clubs in the Premiership would not and I certainly wouldn't, never gave a stuff about them until a few years ago and removing them from the picture would make no odds to me whatsoever. I grew up when Saints were established in the Premiership/Top Flight and the Skates wern't even on the radar, they literally meant nothing to me then, and aside from this annoying (and for them Phyrric) reversal in fortune they will mean nothing to me again for the rest of my life. Even if they did re-found themselves AFC Wimbledon style they would not be a threat of any kind for at least a decade or two. The more respectable members of their fanbase would follow it and continue to have football in their lives, but the idiots and plastics wouldn't. Let them Rot in Peace.

Just under 2 weeks or so until it comes out, as a massive fan of the first game I cannot wait! Had so much fun with the first one playing through with a variety of Commander Shephards! Really am looking forward to seeing how the new game will let you use your prior 'character.' The trailer looks rather awesome too.

I love how media outlets say that a Premiership club will be going bust, almost certainly knowing full well who it'll be, yet they daren't say who for fear of legal action.

Affordable houses, and within easy travelling distance of better spots. Not a bad place!

FT 2-1. Loved that, outstanding.
