Football Special

Was a good finish, fair play to Palace , another win at Wembley for them

Chuck in ABK as well to prove he's not dead in an attempt to find a buyer

Edwards did have a shorter pre season than others due to u21s Euros, maybe we should play him.at Northampton as well to build up sharpness

Ha that's given me a good laugh this morning, poor old Humpty Dumpty, we've all been there though after conceding a late winner away and goaded by home fans. You are right, general buzz about the place was good yesterday but Chapel end particularly was quiet when it came to singing which is what the away fans will notice most, hopefully as a one off it will improve for the Skates game

Just watched the itv highlights, how AA doesn't score from that post rebound I'll never know. At times our build up play was frustrating though , needed more movement off the ball There were chances though, could have been 5-4 as a fair scoreline. Another comment on the highlights, out of 31,000 why does the camera always find that bald bloke doing his dance moves 🙄

This feels a bit like our trip to Gillingham two years ago, not a fixture we particularly want with the squad in transition , unknown outgoings, would certainly expect at least 8 changes to starting XI and some u21s to feature.

Skates have a kind fixture list to start with, expect they'll be quite high when we play them, our next two are tough, Ipswich away possibly hardest away of the season and Stoke who could well be top when we play them

Thought the fans were decent today considering we were losing for most of the match. New banner unveiled over the Northam wall pre,-match looked decent, some big flags waved in the Chapel as the players came out, assume that was organised by the club?

They've already drawn with Motherwell, if lose to Dundee I think there's no coming back from that

I think it was a huge psychological importance to win today, so so long since we've experienced that feeling, for once a feelgood factor coming out of the ground, being an early kick off and sunny day loads still out in the pubs several hours later. Lots of weaknesses today though that I'm sure Still will want addressing

Agree, we did have some good chances first half and really should have scored , but overall we were far too easy to defend against

Sheff Utd fans calling for Ruben Selles out already, oh dear 🤣

Tough fixture, I'd 100% take a draw if offered now, Tall Paul was our hero up there last season, need a similar smash and grab performance with a late winner Definitely class it as a 6 pointer in context of the season

For who?

Really harsh, good scrap as well after need some red cards

Thought Birmingham have looked well organised and up for the battle, plenty of energy, always gives them a chance and something we completely lacked last season, also just used to winning matches.

Give The Painted Wagon a try

Perfect, can I get a re re rewind back to the Premier League

Tempting, I actually think both games will be a draw

Agreed. I'll be there, get behind the team etc , need full positive support, but really not impressed with that side at all and tempted to do the old insurance bet on a Wrexham win with generous odds

It seems they are the players that we have received firm offers for and in negotiation phase

Thought he'd be a bit more upbeat and positive, sounded like I do at work on a Monday morning

Agree, zero enthusiasm, it's worn him down already

Thought Still sounded a bit down in that conference, don't know what his personal issues were yesterday but maybe he's a bit stressed. Great to hear Fernandes is in the squad, we seem a bit short in midfield

If they do this will be me
