I personally would love to see Dennis Rofe and/or Dave Merrington offered role(s) at the club! i had dennis as one of my academy coaches and i learnt loads from him!!! Such a legend in his shorts in any weather!!

i was lucky enough to have them as my coach/manager a few years back. gutting to see them both go. dont think our academy has been as good since! Prost very much of a "father figure"!

mark paul was a striker that dave jones brought back in the 1998-99 summer from kings lynn! At the time it was lynn/ record fee paid for one of there players! Jus cant remember how much we paid for him! Only spent a year at saints i think

any body remember the random sending off of claus at villa park back in 99'? i think we lost 4-0 but despite the linesman flagging for a offside against villa, the ref decides not only to award saints a free kick but to send claus off!!!!!
