just got:- John Beresford v Tahar El kalej I went for Tahar! If Beresford was injury free for us, i think he would have been ace. i remember when saints played yeovil town in pre-season one year and thinking this was beresford's year........he retired the following week Anybody go to Tahar's debut at Tottenham? A great start for him, then losing 7-2 in the same game. what a waste of a journey that was !

Just had a look on the Leicester Forum to see if they had any inside info. A lot of them agree with Appy, by saying Sven would be mad to loan him out to a fellow Championship team due to DJ Campbell going out last season. Plus they also feel a drop down a division would be great to boost his confidence as his form it said to be very poor at the mo! Would love to see a Friatt/Lambo strike force. Lots of goals...hopefully!

Wouldnt be suprised with curbs or o'neill. Cortese has been reported as wanting someone with promotion winning experience. Both have got their teams to the prem with charlton and leicester city. i have just been told that ex arsenal goalkeeper vince bartram, ex saints scout rod ruddick and bolton european scout bill green have all joined up with the development management team! apparently theyre could be a few more additions down at the academy, with new coaches and ex players joining the club as ambassadors for the academy!

personally, i would love saints to bring in sparky! he was my idol in my younger days (i'm welsh) so when i signed for the academy under dave jones, i was lucky enough to meet hughes. defo not arrogant, but there always used to be a group of players that kept themselves together i.e le tiss, frannie, dodd hughesie wasnt one of them.
