Depends on lots of things, sometimes people move to a three at the back to gain control of the ball in build up. Some teams go man 2 man and press into midfield, others sit in a deep block. To many variables to make create an evaluation. The comment I'm debating is that it never works, it does, and has on many occasions, for saints and other teams.

Lincoln didn't have loads of space. We had 60+% of the ball.... Lincoln play so differently to Swansea, it's not even worth comparing the two games.

If that’s true about Swansea that’s appalling. Top of the league, and one of the better trips for them. I’m only 10 mins closer and I do it 23 times per season. The Welsh clubs do have poor support.

Good ticket sales, only 1000-1500 left. Need a top atmosphere and hopefully a good home week of 6 points puts us right in the mix. Watching wolves struggle at Birmingham has cheered me up, no one other than West Ham are ahead of us in terms of quality. Hope TE can get us going.

Haven’t read others view points yet. Will read after I give my own. I think that’s the best our back 4 have played this season, we literally gave them one chance from open play all game pretty much. Maybe I’ve missed one or two but I felt they did ok, but we’ve been poor defensively in every game so it’s the best out of a bad bunch. JWP & Downes - spot on. Leo, Azuz, Matsuki, Larin again all did ok, we controlled the game very well. That goal should have been enough for us to win the game. Tonda, who I am a huge fan off cost us the game today. We gambled the three points with Tuesday deemed a priority at 1-0. Playing Edozie after he spat his dummy out on deadline day was poor man management, and whilst he trys hard he’s crap. Divin isn’t ready to play at that stage of a game… I’d sooner we play an extra midfield player and have Azaz as a false 9, I remember us doing this to good avail at Coventry away last season late on. He’s not good enough, neither is Dobbin if he’s worth £9 million, then Scienza is worth 50.

There is ZERO chance that Azaz will be rested. If he is, Tonda has lost the plot. Play all the big attacking guns in every game until the international break. We need to close the gap, not increase it.

It's more the weight of the pass.... two that spring to mind. The one to manning where he was in, and the other was to peretz to his wrong foot with far to much pace. I like Bragg, but he isn't ready to be a starter in the majority of our games.

Just got home, very much “after the lords mayors show” type of performance. After West Ham I’d have snapped your hands off for 4 points from Milwall and Brum. Bragg could be a good player when he’s older. He shouldn’t be getting these minutes at the moment, it’s hurting us. You can feel his team mates frustrations as well. Manning, Azaz & Peretz all annoyed with his passing. Gave the ball away for the goal as well? Matsuki & JWP need to come in Saturday. Dare i say it, I’d have Stephens in for KS as well, he looked tired tonight and we can’t flog him. Muamba I hope will do ok, but he’s a drop off from Larin. Can’t see Dobbin being better than Archer or Edozie if I’m honest. Poor start for him, let’s hope he improves. Peretz needs to up his game as well, crosses and distribution miles away from last season. Hope ramsdale situation isn’t weighing on him. Wood & Downes MOTM. Bree was better tonight, their right back is best I’ve seen defensively - tonight and Wrexham he’s been top. Leo won’t face many like him. Win at Lincoln - 10 points from 12 since Watford. We’d settle for that.

I wonder if the £250,000 wages for ramsdale every month are the reason we’ve not replaced THB with a fee. I watched the Porto away game and Forest were excellent that night. I think he’ll do well for us, based of not a lot. But I’m more hopeful than others.
