We need to trust Azaz to unlock them, but he will look like he’s being cheap on ball as he’ll try and take risks. Important we stay with him in the stands. Scienza hopefully to help later.

Away leg on Tuesday after international duty and playing us on the Saturday night at 8pm. No starters on the Tuesday will play against us. Hopefully a few international duty knocks so we get 2/3 of the kids.

How good is Finn Azaz, this week he’s been our best player, including keeper. Crowd abysmal. Real shame. Driven 6 hours with my lad round trip, some ten mins up the road can’t be bothered to attend, those that did were quiet and some left on 88 mins. Need everyone at it.

You’d like to think tonight’s result will entice a few to come to the game. We were dead and buried not so long ago, looking at Wrexham’s next set of games we could well have a buffer if we win tomorrow. Massive night. Excited for it.

Still loads of tickets available for the Norwich game. You’d think after not playing at home for ages and the form we’re in it’d go close to selling out. I’d bring Edozie in for Bragg and stick with that. Matsuki is starting to add numbers to his industrious work rate. Assist 👀 and a goal today.

It's counter productive. Just stop moaning and encourage, players like Azaz will make sloppy passes because they try and make things happen. Watch all top 10s ( not many left in the game ) they take risks and give the ball away, but also make key contributions. Bruno being one. Azaz didn't have a stinker imo, he was just nullified by a team who defended excellently. We have no right to win every game.

We avoided giving away throws all night, because it was a threat. It would have been an instruction.

Just back from the hawthorns. The sheer lack of football knowledge from our fan base is beyond belief. “why do we always pass sideways and backwards” “always take the safe option” yet these same people hate on Azaz and Manning, yet these two take chances and pass forward and try to make things happen. Passing between lines is not easy, these two continuously try, yet we hate them for giving the ball away and also hate us being “slow”. Help.

At least they’ll be away in champions league a few days after.

Of course it was his. If you genuinely believe that a manager wouldn’t pick his own side then you’re miles off it. The sole reason he played a back 3 was a lack of physicality…. Jelert and Armstrong come out of the side he’s added Bree who defends well and has size in duels and Stewart/Larin come in up top and we are able to play a 4 that can physically play with the demands of the division.

Top performance, everyone from 1-16 was incredible. Deserved to progress, I’m sure the boys will be bouncing into training and ready for West Brom. Assume Matsuki, Charles, Stewart, Stephens will come in for Fellows, Jander, Larin & Wood. All of whom as I previously mentioned had good games. Should keep us relatively fresh for weds. Only downside is that Ipswich and Wrexham games being postponed, any idea when we’ll find out about that and if it’ll be one or both. my guess is we’ll take the Friday night slot in place of Wrexham therefore allowing skys coverage of Ipswich to go ahead. Wouldn’t be the worst thing to kick that can down the road.

Genuinely excited for the game, we should go strong but cautious. Peretz, Bree, Wood, THB, Manning, Fellows, Bragg, Charles, Azaz, Edozie, Larin. I’d save Scienza, Stewart, Downes, for last half hour. Nothing to lose, decent noise, you never know.

Like in life people enjoy moaning more than being happy. Saints fans are worst for it. Like I love my family, I love my club. I wont say anything negative unless to another “family member”. Not enough people add to the atmosphere and moan about it being quiet.
