  1. This was really funny! This was a poor effort!
  2. To be fair hardly anyone on this thread has talked about sex, that's certainly not the angle I was coming from.
  3. oh lordy that expression doesn't help!
  4. True, I just can't help thinking it'd always be at the back of my mind that they were not mine, no matter how close I got to them.
  5. See this is exactly why the Lounge is so useful and some people post in here more than the main forum. I can't do anything with the knowledge of how many points we need to score on average for the rest of the season, but this sort of information you've written is pure gold and could change my life. I would simply never have thought about some of these points. Good work!
  6. 4!!!! Crikey, cheers for the offer though. I'm 36. Yeah that's the problem, there's a reason why most of the childless ones are still single!!!! The hotter ones are the ones with kids (no real surprise that others have been happy to fling it up um in the past!!) I have always considerably cut down my options due to being so fussy, that's my main problem. My mates all tell me I'm too fussy and I know they are right, but I have just never wanted to compromise. I suppose the one advantage is that (in my opinion) kids are absolutely useless for the first couple of years anyway (all they do is sleep, pooh and throw up!) so at least I miss all that rubbish if I meet someone with kids over a couple of years
  7. Just wondering what thoughts were on this topic? After a period of self imposed singleness, I’m thinking about dating again (and by dating I mean just sitting at home, looking on dating websites, building up the courage to finally message some girls, then being crushed when none of them even reply to me, but anyway I digress!!!!). So having had a bit of a look at some of my ‘search results’ (and based on the key fact that I am a fussy fooker) most of the time when someone catches my eye, I look at her profile and she will have kids. I’ve always discredited girls with kids previously, however am considering the fact that I may need to start being a little less fussy! Thoughts please………..
  8. This is funny! (but I do know what you mean )
  9. I should imagine many people come on the forum initially because of their love of saints, but after a spending a while reading the main forum they avoid posting on it much as you seem to have to be a total Saints geek/statto to survive on it without getting ripped to shreds or sucked into pointless arguing. I like to have a read of the main forum but I don't post on it much as I can't be bothered with all the opinionated bull on there. It's easier to get involved on some of the other forums and just chill and have a laugh. The main forum gets far to serious.
  10. Yeah I appreciate it's about grandparents too, like I said my dad also had a dad (he didn't support saints either). Sorry for any confusion Turkish
  11. I also have a dad, and so did he. My dad had a mum too and so do I. I don't think any of them liked saints. It's a funny old game.
  12. To be fair that's an assumption you've made there, and one that I would disagree with. When I met him I was very impressed with his football knowledge. Don't forget part of his job is to find out and learn about these sort of things. I'm pretty sure he is more than aware of the challenge that we'd have once promoted.
  13. So it looks like pretty much everyone agrees that it's not a problem. Steve / Baj, over to you....... Can the offical rules be change?
  14. Be yourself (unless you are a gimp, in which case try not to be a gimp). Don't try and bullsh!t, if you don't know an answer to a question just say you don't know. It'll be respected more than them listening to you waffle and get the answer wrong. Look like you've made an effort (ie have a shave, dress as would be expected) Don't chew gum (I have specifically not taken someone on as they chewed all through an interview. Other than that they were ok, but for me that's a no-no) Prior to the interview think of some questions you want to ask them to show you have taken an interest You may want to seem keen to wish to progress (ie ask about opportunities for you to progress, ask how they see the company growing, BUT don't make it seem like all you want to do is get to the top instantly, you don't want to seem too keen/desperate. A big issue with people working offshore in India is that they come across as so keen to move on up, they don't seem interested in their current role!!!) If you have some questions but they are answered during the interview, when they ask if you have any questions say that you were going to ask about 'such & such' but that they've already been answered (it still shows that you had some questions lined up!) If the person interviewing you is a hot chick, don’t keep looking at her boobies, you’ll have plenty of time for that once you have the job Don’t get hung up on it being a ‘formal’ interview, they are just people, with their own problems and they are no better in ‘life’ than you (unless you are a gimp, in which case they are). Keep your answers to questions simple and don’t waffle, however don’t just answer yes/no, this is your chance to show you know the answer so use some common sense around how much you say!
  15. ha, I like the stat in the guardian report saying that last year 31 people injured thmselves due to falling off their seats! I've injured myself on my seat whilst jumping up & down after scoring, but how do people fall off their seats! "Acknowledging that: "Overall most injuries [are] minor", the FLA figures show that last season 419 injuries were sustained from trips, slips and falls, 108 were people hit with the ball, and 31 people fell off their seats or another object. Taylor would have given profound thanks for the figure of only four people sustaining a crush, from a total attendance in the season of 34,564,307 – 0.00001% "
  16. Two points: - We have a rule on this forum (Rule 1) that states that if you mention a wife/girlfriend you must post a picture of her - Please continue to post rather than lurk, great 1st couple of posts from you
  17. Exterminate!
  18. Where is this Northern you speak of?
  19. A ding dong
  20. Do either of you have any suggestions for headphones that do work well after a spell in a washing machine?
  21. True, but people who 'could' have made a decent contribution (but who do take the time to read the rules first) will have a look and see they are not supposed to post in the main forum so they won't. Why not get the rules amended to say something along the lines of 'fans of other teams can post on the main forum provided 'such & such' (and I'm not specifically aiming this question at you St Chalet, you are doing a fine job), but I just wanted to open this up for discussion.
  22. Can we have a sensible discussion (and ideally a poll) about this rule that states fans of other teams should not post on the main forum (but restrict their use to other areas such as the lounge or muppet show). It’s a rule that seems to have been relaxed a bit recently anyway, but why do we even need it? I’d be interested to hear the ‘official’ reason for this rule? If other fans register and then start winding people up, being abusive and so on then they should quite rightly having their access restricted or be banned, but doesn’t that apply to saints fans as well! A couple of weeks ago we had a Bournemouth fan who made a decent contribution and I’ve just read a couple of great posts from a Brighton fan, also let’s not forget our fishy friend mack rill (to be honest I think he’s secretly a saints fan anyway!), he’s always entertaining if you can understand what the hell he’s on about! Personally I think some contributions from sensible posters with different views of saints can only complement and improve the forum. What are others thoughts? As a saints forum we’re naturally going to be the majority on here, but what’s the problem with others making a valid contribution to the main board? It's only ever gonna be a few people, it's not like the forum will get over run with other teams fans!
  23. I'm not really sure, I don't look at other men’s winkles, so I have nothing to compare with. I once saw one on a porno film and that was humungous. I was of the opinion that his was unusually big judging by the fuss the two ladies were making of it, however if my assumption was wrong and they are all that size than I may well indeed have a small one
  24. I like the fact that some of you guys are doing this as it offsets my sports car style driving. I love to get out on the A roads and floor it past cars when I get some open road. I like to imagine people in those cars saying to each other "look at that idiot, he won't get there any quicker". In truth I probably will, but more to the point I'm not trying to get anywhere quicker, I just like to get out on the open road and put my foot down. Cheers all.
