  1. I thought they seem a decent bunch on there
  2. that's not really fair, not strictly the ground is it! If we are going to include other factors, then I'd also say the city of manchester stadium, as I had a cold when I went there
  3. Goodison park is a dump in my opinion.
  4. those are scary looking bunny boots!
  5. A rare breed amongst Saints fans in recent years as well.
  6. We would hate Southend because they came down to St Mary's on the last game of the season a couple of years back and made fun of us by dressing in fancy dress and having some sort of party in our own back yard, they made us look like mugs. I still can't watch sponge bob square pants now without the feeling of shame.
  7. This is what I'd like to happen
  8. Simon, how do you fancy your chances for the play-offs now, do you think you'll hang in there?
  9. Simon, what are your thoughts on a play-off place for you lot, do you think you'll hang in there now?
  10. That's the easy part, I just used some circuit boards from an old commodore 64 & some flashy lights & wires. The difficult bit was getting the power to it. It needs 1.21 gygawatts which I eventually managed to harness by putting rubbish into an old sodastream (seems obvious now!!!)
  11. Let's see some pics of these seats it there new surroundings! Don't be shy.
  12. Whilst you guys were sorting out Saints in your time machines, I’d give us something to laugh at. I’d go back to 2009 and make up some sort of fake ghost person to buy the skates (maybe call myself Ali Al Faraj, or something like that, make out that I was a Saudi Businessman, or something silly). I’d basically buy the club, string it along for a bit, set up some dodgy deals, skim some money from the club and then sell it on to someone else wiling to continue to do the same as I’d been doing. It’d be so funny watching the club slowly die in front of our eyes. I may even come back at some future points in time and pretend to be someone else, show them the money I have (the stuff I stole from them in the first place), kick a few tyres and get their fans hopes up, then disappear again!
  13. there are a lot of them in poole
  14. I think the media are trying to big this event up in the hope that people get into it. Personally I couldn't give a rats arse about the wedding, however I am happy to accept the day off work!
  15. That'll change once it's moved to channel 5
  16. What are you on about , Deppo never take the p!ss. This therad needs photos, I want to see what these seats look like!
  17. If you go somewhere and they show you some examples of their work, make sure you see stuff they've done a while ago and not just fresh work. I had some stuff done on a car once that looked sweet when it came out of the spray shop. The following winter loads of little bubbles appeared in the paint where it turned out that tiny moisture droplets had got into the paint during spraying and expanded once the cold weather caused them to freeze.
  18. Arrange the replacment via DVLA via phone, get a reference number, give the reference number to the insurance company along with DVLA phone number, tell them to stop being such benders. job done. The whole paper thing is stupid anyway. I remember when all driving licences were just paper and then they made a big deal about replacing them with credit card style licences which seemed a good idea until they sent them out, but they still came with a second paper part that you are also 'supposed' to carry around as well.
  19. Especially to Deppo who has managed not only to maintain a consistent level of forum posts from his humours persona during the past few days of running, but he has also managed to vastly increase his level of tiresome persona posting up to pest level! Enjoy the London Dungeon Deppo, you've done well to accumulate such a high level of clubcard points considering you do your main shops at Lidl.
  20. Needs its own thread IMO (that's not my prediction of a thread title either!)
  21. wasn't me in a saints shirt............. agree the whole spirit is amazing! And this is what sums up doing the marathon! Cramp, pain, tripping, it almost broke you, yet you are already thinking about doing it next year…….Great effort! What makes us want to come back for more!!!
  22. Even they could be just one real person, but with five or six user names! Or you may be the only real person on here, the forum could be the saints supporting equivalent of the Truman show.
  23. If any forum member had turned out to have been some sort of automated experimental computer bot, I'd have put money on it being Deppo. But this thread makes me think the smart money should be put on dog!
  24. Fantastic, I bet you felt emotional when you crossed the line! To get back running after spending time with St Johns takes some mental strength! I certainly wouldn’t get hung up on that either, I know a guy who automatically qualified for this years run because he was so fast last year…… he collapsed at the finish line yesterday and spent time with St Johns as well! The heat yesterday impacted almost everyone. How are your aches today, can you walk? No matter what fitness level people are at, finishing it is a massive achievement for anyone, the fact you raised loads of money for a cause that is close to you heart makes it all the more sweet I bet! I raised money for a charity that helps blind and partially sighted children and when I ran past their stand I really felt proud that what I was doing would actually benefit others. I had a bad start yesterday! Annoyingly I was taking a last minute crap when I heard the tannoy guy directing everyone to get ready to go which came as a bit of a shock to me I had to run across Greenwich park to the starting area and ended up nearer the back of the crowds (I had been allocated into pen 1) so I spent the first 5 or 6 miles just trying to pick my way through the crowds which was an absolute mare. I’ve been training since October but the majority of my running has been on a machine, so the firmness of the tarmac came as a bit of a shock to my knees (school boy error really!), they hurt from about 19 miles onwards and I had to slow up, but I managed to finish in 3 hours 14 mins so pretty respectable still. Very happy not to be having to run tonight though, a well earned rest in order!
  25. Just on train on my way to the start area! Nervous would be my key word!
