Didn't bother going down at half time last night so not sure how the service was for the cup game?
-
Aye, just amended my most recent post as well, I think I should stop posting until I wake up a bit more
-
oh balls Steve, I'd just added the winners from last couple of nights but was forgetting that more team go in
-
Draw is tonight. Who do we want? In my opinion save the skates for a later round once we're back to full form Teams in the draw already from games over last two days (plus additional teams coming into the second round added by Steve below). Watford Rochdale Bradford Brentford Huddersfield Middlesbrough Crewe Accrington Stanley (who are they!) Ipswich Colchester Leeds Leicester MK Dons Morecombe Northampton Norwich Oxford Utd Peterborough Notts County Port Vale S****horpe Sheff Wed Shrewsbury Saints Southend Preston Swansea Leyton Orient Tranmere Millwall Crystal Palace Skatesmuff

Thus providing proof that I didn't get the name due to a massive love of the programme for which I have memorised all the scripts!
-
It could well have, as you have totally lost me there! Is that a line from the series?
-
Not yet, if you'd like me to leave all my debts to you let me know hummmmm? Why is the world round? Why is tomato sauce called ketchup on the bottle?, why does Deppo make me laugh to the extent that I almost actually pm'd him yesterday to tell him just that, but then realised that would be a bit ghay? Sometimes there just aren't any answers Smirking Saint. It was a character from the tv series bottom, I assume I got it from there but can’t for the life of me think why I decided to use it when I signed up to the old Saintsforever forum. I can think of a million better names now (well maybe not a million, maybe 4 or 5). I don’t really like it now to be honest.
-
A non football forum I go on has a thread about favourite biscuits that's almost twice as long
-
You seem to have really up'd your game in the past few days Deppo to a whole new level....good work all round, although I assume from your lack of avatar you have upset someones fellings in the process.
-
I don't really like O'Neill as he has the charisma of a used t-bag so I'd go for Pards.
-
Shame. Although I've never been a fan of him I've always had a soft spot for Villa as a couple of mates support them so always look out for them. Bad time with it being only a few days until the start of their season, but hey ho.

this is better.

It's funny how threads can take a totally different direction than you’d expect isn't it! I've put stuff in the lounge before expecting some serious replies and ending up thinking I may as well put that in TMS, yet this I wasn’t really expecting any serious replies but it’s gone a totally different direction (all be it helped be me!) I was expecting pictures of people with huge hairy face moles by now! It was accidently scraped off with a finger nail, I’m pretty sure it’s fine (or at least it was, it’s gone now!) You say that now, but wait until you've had a few beers
-
It's a shame they have not included the red stripe in any of those pics, I wonder if they intentionally only showed the backs of saints players!
-
Oh jesus, I am often tired. So combining this with a mole being picked off, are you saying I already have cancer?
-
Ahhh yes, both my mum and my dad have a history of cancer in their family (not related to smoking either) so I am pretty much destined to get it at some point. I have to have tests every couple of years to see if it's arrived yet, but the good thing is I get some time off work for the tests and get the pleasure of having stuff stuck up my arse without the risk of the aids. Hope your results are all ok
-
No I don't mean I have sexually pleasured a small mammal. I've just scratched my sholder and a mole has come off.... Am I going to die now, or get cancer or something else bad? I hate moles, what are they for anyway? Pointless. Went to school with two twin girls and they were both hot, but one of them had a mole above her top lip, that was the only difference. Was a easy way of telling them apart, but instantly made her the less hot one.

This is pretty much what I've just said in Dunes thread. Most of us are grateful to NC and ML for saving our club. Most appreciate that sometimes difficult decisions will have to be made. Most agree that some decisions will upset some people. But with just a bit of communication (that was promised would happen) people would live with these decisions a lot easier.

Cool. So long as it's not so intergrated that being online on here shows us as online on facebook as well. Currently I can get away with being on here whilst 'working from home'

I get what you are saying and as I mentioned in my post I’m certainly not panicking yet, I want to trust NC based on his stature and business experience. Even just taking into consideration actual facts we know, as you say the season ticket instalment plan was handled poorly and I think we will have lost money due to some people not renewing. I mentioned in a thread yesterday about the food running out half way through half time during at the Plymouth game, again more money lost. We now have the media of the UK giving us negative press which in my opinion could again potentially cost the club money long term if it continues. As you say they could all be perceived as minor points, but if the whole purpose of NC coming in was to treat us as a business and ensure we generate revenue wherever we can, these points to me suggest that some revenue is already being lost. The buck stops with him, he’s been very keen (in the limited communication we have heard from him) to say how the club is his baby, so he is responsible (whatever role he takes in forming the ideas) for the results and outcomes of the plans that are put into action. If the club is a success then he will be happy to take the credit, but equally that means that he’s also gonna get the flack when he does things the fan base doesn’t like. As I’ve mentioned, I still have faith in NC however I have to admit that it’s recently starting to waver. My main wish is that we had just a little more communication coming from the club. I know we have no god given right to be told what’s going on, but wouldn’t it be nice.

Agree with your post, however I do think that we'll start to see a swing of opinion the more of these crazy issues occur. As people were first starting to grumble about some things NC related, I was happy with the things he was doing. Then I’ve heard more things that have made me raise my eyebrows a bit, but I’ve still said to myself he knows what he’s doing. Then I hear something else which makes me think that’s actually a bit odd. But again I think to myself he’s a successful chap who must know what he’s doing. Then I hear another issue, this time I think crikey that’s gonna get us some bad press. But I still want to think to myself he knows what he is doing. BUT at what point do the alarm bells start to ring?
-
If what some people are saying is true, maybe this is exactly what NC wants. The sooner he has a valid reason to make the changes he apparently wants to make, etc, etc......

Just saw on sky sports news's review of stories in the papers, they referred to the Sun's story about our media ban.
