Oh FFS, why oh why do people still seemed to think that Nicola took the action for a giggle. It had to be done (for whatever reason). I honestly can't get my head around the fact that so many people on here don't seem to get that. Nicola would have known that the sacking would have a negative short term effect on the club, but it was required for the long term gain. Honeslty it's not rocket science.

Would have voted no compared to my expectations a few weeks ago, however as the last week or so has progressed, and after hearing Adkins speak, he seems a good man and I do have a good feeling he'll be with us for some time into the future which is exactly what we need. Therefore he gets my vote.

I can't see that we'd wait until a new manager comes in if we had a chance to get Antonio back on loan. I'd love to be proven wrong, but if we were getting him back I think we'd have him by now?

A few weeks ago RonManager started a thread about SSN moving off of freeview and going HD. In that thread Pat from Poole made a comment which backed up thoughts that I’d been having over recent months about a decline in picture quality on non HD channels. Just watching sky sports news now on non HD and the picture quality is truly awful on my tv (which I will admit is getting on a bit now!!) So was thinking this subject was worthy of a thread of its own! Does anyone else think that the quality of non HD tv channels has been intentionally degraded to try and increase sales of HD boxes and tvs? OR do Pat & I just need to get better tvs?

Funny that the story turns up in places like the Loughborough echo! My colleague was in London last Friday, he text me to say he'd seen a story about this in the free London metro newspaper.
