  1. What’s the latest on Solly March? Take the offer for Edozie, sign March and use the profit on a striker. Bosh.
  2. Bingo! Cheers for that!
  3. Another pic that amused me was those two ladies who usually get the coach to away games and were clearly obsessed with Russell Martin, as they sent a letter in to the Echo in his defence.
  4. He has vision issues. Any shot from 20 yards or more from goal, and he really struggles to grasp where the ball is. We just need to shoot from outside the box against Bolton and we will score a hatful. Still, good luck, Gav.
  5. Lavia truly a rose amongst thorns there.
  6. Chances of Mings wanting to return to a club that turfed him out, mainly on account of being “too small”? Slim.
  7. He’s not THAT good. By and large, multi-club has been a disaster for us.
  8. We are going to build a Fanzone the size of Heathrow Airport.
  9. Yes, it's fine being an arrogant cock if you are at least smart. I am amazed that he is still at the club.
  10. How does one get on a Football Martin fans forum video? Asking for a demented friend.
  11. Don't the pubs normally have heavies on the door asking to see match tickets for games like this?
  12. Am I being thick here? Why would any pub in Portsmouth allow a load of Saints fans in to watch the game on TV? Surely that would have the dibble all over it as soon as they got wind of it. There are more than enough pubs in Cardiff City Centre for visiting fans to spread themselves across in a vaguely non-threatening way. But Portsmouth??? I can't see that happening.
  13. It would be rather weird for him not to have worked closely with Tonda, but to have worked closely with Garner, who he did name-check. I accept that he had worked previously with Garner at Swindon. However, this reads to me as a fairly major beef with Tonda.
  14. Interesting parting shot on LinkedIn from Ben Chorley. Gushing praise for pretty much every member of senior management at the Club. With one fairly notable exception….. This reinforces my thinking that the Club are looking to hold on to Eckert, as either: - this guy would have stayed if he thought Eckert was leaving, as he seemed on the face of it to like the job he had, and / or - if Tonda wanted him out, the senior management would have ignored Tonda’s wishes if they were about to get rid of him. intriguing. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/ben-chorley-013303a9_ill-be-leaving-southampton-and-sport-republic-activity-7465033125954375680-bK3e?utm_medium=ios_app&rcm=ACoAACAYUF0BWLSRDrwEaAAJU4Xmmgu0Gf0iqdE&utm_source=social_share_send&utm_campaign=copy_link
  15. The support was good last night, and we got our reward. I think sometimes our support is better when we only have 1,000 or so there, but we all get behind the team, rather than 3,000 when the support can often be diluted and more sporadic. Last night for me was a bit of a throwback to away games in the 90’s when we had less fans going, but everyone there was right up for it. Reminded me in particular of the 5-4 at Carrow Road, which I was also very lucky to be at.
