dont understand what you are going on about the points deduction, we didnt go back up from the championship to the PL because we were not good enough and spent no money, and had an idiot in charge for half the season, the points deduction came later.... last season we were way off Brighton, and had Huddersfield chasing us all the way, we only clinched auto promo in the at last game (or was it last away game..?) at Plymouth, no guarantees in the play offs, so it could have gone very badly after all the money we spent. teams are never as good on paper, ala Saints and Brighton last year, we should have won that league by miles with the squad we had, what i am saying though, is that WHU should be good enough to be promoted and it amazes me when some of the posters on here think they are not good and will collapse. How thet could do with him now. And here he is sitting 2nd in the Championship, a game in hand won and they would be top. Their first season down here and they are going straight back up, a feat many clubs fail to do, we didn't! Yeah, he has spent money, what manager wouldn't? That does not guarantee you anything and nearly cost us last year. Aside from all that, Fat Sam, what a crap manager! Some people need to appreciate that Saints are not the only club around.
