  1. Coming from the south, I use Osterley, either at the station or the next left past there for on street parking. Obviously a bit of a trek on the UG but an easy get away to the M25/M3
  2. yeah, you would imagine that they would have amde a big deal about subsidising tickets for the benefit of ST holders, hardly going to keep that a secret.
  3. I have a real problem with this. I want to go but paying 25 quid just gives football clubs like them even more reason to do what they like. However, i have a bigger problem with whoever is running our ticket office. To me, it seems like that they gave the whole end to them because they offered a no return policy and knew that we would not sell out the whole stadium, which was the case. So they gave them an extra 1000 or so tickets that would have remained unsold. I sort of get that from a financial aspect, we have got an extra 10k in revenue. Clearly it does not support the team in the slightest but they did not care about that, though getting through to the next round would probably make up that 10K, but then there is no guarantee in that, so they took the 'get rich now' option. However, who the **** runs our ticket negotiating team? You would think that surely, acting on behalf of us, they would have stipulated that our £10 ticket offer had to be reciprocated? Or, as the gate monies are shared I believe, our lot are clearly happy that the price is even more, which will generate more. Whatever way you look at it, it just looks like they are ****ing us up the arse, and we have our bum stuck out, with a smile on our face. If we had anything about us, we'd all just say no, boycott the game completely which would help neither club.
  4. Lease it but then you don’t get the free charging points
  5. a bit old, not exactly bringing loads through now.
  6. he's been **** in the last two games tbf
  7. THAT Can't even get the grammar right
  8. why are people coming up with more Danny Ings songs, we got one and it cannot be bettered, work on Shane Long please, wtf we have to sing that overused Liverpool anthem is beyond me. We also need on for Jan, Bertrand and Jack Stephens, a friend came up with this, to the tune of Can't take my eyes off of you, the chorus I Love you Baby bit: Our Jack Stephens, he's ****ing scum He'll **** your girlfriend, Then he'll **** your mum, Our Jack Stephens, He's going to **** you up too. Quality.
  9. see, I've improved for you schnitzel
  10. peck
  11. find an industrial estate or a demolition site and you'll find one there, full of beards and half pint glasses though.
  12. you think, we were awful the next season and were so close to be relegated. Something like 20 games or so without a win, ironically after he’d won a MOM award I think. He tried to go after the Forest game, his dog had died, we lost the replay and that was it for him, but they would not take his resignation. Only a late surge inspired by a Neil Ruddock penalty (Le Tiss was on the pitch too WTF) against Newcastle if memory serves me well? If you want to talk about underrated, Rod Wallace, totally underrated and never really took off after he left us. Nice lad too, awful agent. as for Nicholl genuinely nice man, shame to see him now but as for results, that season was bad. and then came Branfoot
  13. yeah, i know, equalised in 95th minute against Bolton, people streaming back in. Just echoing your 'nights under the lights' at The Dell.
  14. yep, Barry Horne!!
  15. do we still hate him? Heard a lot when we were losing but now we are winning, well, are just fickle football fans then?
  16. you're right, badly phrased! Relegation is worse and fair point on the financial security of the club but then if they didn't keep spunking it on ****e then redundancies would not be that necessary. Whilst i do not want us to go down, I am not overly fussed about it. There will still be a football match every week.
  17. yep, the higher we finish helps reduce the 'sacked managers' compensation fund or contributes to Lemina, Hoedts, carrillo's wages
  18. It was just a generalisation really, and what i am saying is that i am a football fan that doesn't really give a toss about the PL positioning unless we are right up there and basically, that is not going to happen, we had our chance and blew it. Nothing better than cup finals and Europe, nothing worse than an average season and finishing 14th. And i'd take a group place in Europe over an FA cup final, though obviously if you win that, Europe is sorted anyway.
  19. But you said you'd take 4 points over winning the cup, so i don't think i am misrepresenting what you said? Obviously you'd want both, i'd want the quadruple, but that not going to happen. So, would you take a cup win (and Europe next year) with relegation or 14th and out to Spurs?
  20. and I guess byou would not want Europa league next season in case it hampers our mid table finish?
  21. Everything that is wrong with modern football. You'd rather finish 14th than win the cup. You'd rather celebrate an average season than having a trophy. You'd rather have a great day out at the end of the season against Sheff Utd than a day out at Wembley
  22. Plenty of undesirables in the 1200 anyway, you see the lads at Leicester?
  23. didnt even realise there was an alternative line, always been smashing with us. My mate made it up, well he takes credit for starting it at spurs away, though I thought i heard it at Skates away, but apparently not. And to suggest some of our fans would be Noddy about it, really ?
  24. when most of the decent support is in the Itchen North, you want to send everyone to the Chapel? Not going to happen The Northam lot should go to The Chapel. Lets see what they can do there.
  25. errr, not that last line mate. Smashing Pompey the Southampton Way
