  1. Peter Shelton probably. why did someone say Dexter Blackstock? Hardly a goalkeeper or scorer, or have I missed something?
  2. Mark Hughes
  3. Forest away in a cup replay, maybe 91 Lost the game (Nicholl tried to resign, and i found out how to sell a story to the newspapers!) Walked over the Trent Bridge Jumped by a load of theirs Police didnt want to know We found them, in a house, big bay window. Then we found a crate of milk bottles Peugeot 405 , sunroof open, two out the top, one out the front passenger window, me driving A load of bottles through their front window, classic! Quick getaway.
  4. QPR away, 89, the week after beating Liverpool 4-1 at home I think. Passed my driving test that morning, after three failed attempts! Got absolutely hammered on the train up Saw a great win at Loftus road (great ground) More drinking on the way home, in the pub, out of it completely. Came around in a bush in Eastleigh, all but a broken nose. Found out some time later it was a mate that did it as I was being a complete nob and pretty much asked for it. Great day.

  10. well, I know I'm right, so an easy one. Who did MLT have an off the ball incident with during an FA Cup 1/4 final at Carrow Road, resulting in him being sent off and we then lost the match?

    Dusan Tadic

Thought that was under Adkins, but hard to keep up with all the important games against lower oppo that we should of, but did not win.

    Dusan Tadic

Think all three went missing at various times, especially Tadic. Mane when he first came was shocking and I remember a shot against Villa away that was like, ‘jeez, who is this?’ And Mane certainly didn’t seem to like playing in the winter months. pas for fans moaning, nature of the beast and whilst not disputing what some say about fans moaning at games, not sure it was as widespread as being made out. One fan shouting F Off back to Salzburg hardly constitutes a fan base. But we all moan about plas and sometimes it comes back to bite us. Lallana in the rest half of the first PL season was not cutting it all.

going to make myself look stupid but when did Mane play against Sheffield Utd?
  17. see, I’m not so sure about VVD in a five a side team, think he’s too big to be honest. And Matty, obviously or arguably the best player we have ever had but again, there are not many free kicks in 5AS and whilst you cannot dispute his skills, just don’t think he would be quick enough. Ward Prowse for the work rate, Lallana works so hard and covers every blade and is miles better at scoring than JWP. feel free to rip my team
  18. fair comment BUT you know Shearer and Bale were bloody good for us. Yes, they were elevated on their next club(s) but they were still a lot better than what we had anyway.
  19. I thought we wanted to be Everton?
  20. not sure mate, just picked this up from FB, think Franny just picked 5 players and as he was one of them, i guess there was no particular criteria. Whats yours?
  21. Ok, now having the night to think it over properly Niemi Bale Lallana Mane Shearer
  22. See Franny on FB pick Flowers Matty Marion Rod Wallace and himself! so what would yours be and remember, it’s a five a side team, which is why, personally I wouldn’t have Le Tiss in, it’s about speed and versatility I reckon. VVD, probably best defender we have had, certainly in recent years, but in a 5 a side team? Niemi Bridge Lallana Danny Wallace Shearer too many to pick from!
  23. if helps pay the rest of staff then fine, but as you say, it’s not a sacrifice at all. These guys could go a year without being paid and still be absolutely fine. That said, it seems to be a lot more than just about every other club has done.
  24. I guess it would be good to see some real math on the subject so we could actually see whether the taxing of say JWP brings in more revenue then the spend on losing 20% of his tax against paying 2500 per head to SFC employees.
  25. not sure many will the extreme of high earners in A football club. I’d love to see the facts but you have to assume that PL. pubs have t(e highest wage bill (per head) than any other business? The point is, that instead of reducing players wages to pay heir staff and lets face it, maybe a 20% cut would cover it, they want to use 80% of tax payers money. You make a valid point about other companies and perhaps a caveat on high earners at a company against what they want to claim should be bought in, but it was obviously a required knee jerk decision and of course, some finer details have been lost.
