  3. Still listening to this, But Im trying to work other albums around it that work with it. blink-182 by Blink 182, Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers and Myths of The Near Future by the Klaxons seem to work well with it.
  4. It vood be under zee Bungle rezeem.
  5. Posters using common sense. That would be great to bring back.
  6. Right, I think this has run its course now.
  7. "The Fat Lady Sings" is a Pompey fan from 606 that changed his user ID to that during our relegation season in response to the numerous "it aint over until..." posts from Saints fans on 606. As this petition originated from 606, I assume his signature and message is purely in jest and having a dig Saints fans.
  8. Shane you have been asked by 2 Admins to change your avatar, I suggest you get on with it.

  13. one day me lad, you will realise there is something missing from that list. Unless, of course, that your new found love of guyliner etc has persuaded your to set sail on new oceans?
  14. The difference being that we know (from McGs interview on the Beeb) the basics of my post. We only have have hearsay and rumours for youre added bit...
  15. Indeed. If you are aware of a firedrill at 10.30, you pop to Starbucks (or whatever) and 10.20 or go for a fag break just before. That way you avoid the pointless march down the street; plus your boss knows where you are so you are accounted for.
  16. You forgot the obvious that McG is on the payola and is Lowe's stooge within the camp and will say anything in the press that lowe has told him to say... :smt040
  17. Taking a non-emotion view on this: My CEO knows jack**** about the design and integration of IT kit. He is the boss of the company, deal with other things and I wouldn't expect him to know about the ins and outs of everyday life. But last week, he called our local Manager and said he was going to pop into the office that evening before we rolled out a major system that night. The Manager usually organised a "set to" meeting before a major roll out such as this anyway, so he said it would be the perfect time for the CEO to come down. So, we were there with our coffee and laptops getting ready for the briefing when we were told the CEO was popping into the see us and give us a small peptalk. He commented that, although due to the financial climate and budget constraints at the moment we were having to off load some of the more experienced staff member and he regretted that, the team were working well and he said that he hoped we would carry on and get the system roll out complete and running in order to make the customer happy, as we could do with some repeat custom from them. He also personally introduced himself to staff he hadnt met before. We were all bouyed by this, as he didnt need to come and see us; we saw it as a nice gesture and it gave us some addded impetous to get on with the job in hand....
  18. Well I bloody wish someone would document all of that on here! So I can be "deep" on Friday, but anything about press releases, conference or takeovers is now for Wednesday?
  19. Isnt Wednesday the new Friday? Or has it changed, once again?
  20. The other way to look at it (and by no means my opinion) is tarnished gold will be rejected when compared to shining examples, but will shine like the sun when compared to iron pyrite.
  21. Is that ye olde name for Portsmouth?
  22. McGoldrick seems to think the Lowe's input before the game was "all a positive": http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/7683981.stm
  23. More importantly, McG gives it the "OK" for Lowe coming down to give a rallying call before th game, says it was a positive as some of the kids had never met him.

    Wii

It depends on what you want it for Delldays. if you want a serious console for cutting edge gaming and a hardcore playing experience, then look elsewhere. But if you want a bit of lighthearted fun on your own, with mates or online, then its great. ive had mine for about 9 months now, got Mario Olympic, MarioKart, COD3, Resident Evil and few others; all fun and you can fire it up for a quick 10 min play, which i always found you cant do with more hardcore consoles. Another good add on from Nintendo is teh Virtual Console, a download facility where you cna download old skool NES, SNES, Master System, Mega Drive, Neo Geo, Atari and other games for a small fee. Add this to WiiWare, where games are developed specifically for download rather than highstreet sale, and the lifecycle fo teh console is extended a lot IMHO.
