  1. Could be a combo of essentially treating the EFL Cup first round as a final warm-up hame now it's on the weekend, and planning based on being in the PL which would have meant having an extra couple of weekends before the first game.
  2. We can't. The third placed team that will play the winner of England's group will come from one of group E, H, I, J or K (Scotland are in Group C).
  3. I'd go Hearts. Ambitious, in CL qualifiers next season and have just lost their main striker (Shankland) to Rangers.
  4. The full written decision in the Swindon case from earlier this season contains: "Further, the EFL submitted in the Referral that, in the event the Alleged Breaches were found proven, the appropriate sanction would be for the Club to be expelled from the EFL Trophy for the 2025/2026 season and forfeit the prize which would otherwise have been awarded from winning the Fixture." That indicatres that even though the EFL don't dictate the sanction (the independant commision does), they may have already advised the commision what they deem an appropriate sanction to be as part of the rererral.
  5. The BBC's article this morning contains "Only the EFL or Southampton can appeal, which would be heard by an Independent League Arbitration panel with three new members. An appeal should be held within 14 days, but the EFL is expected to ask for a resolution by Friday."
  6. All of the above, though it seems A unlikely to be required as reported unlikely we contest breach. I know it’s lengthy, but the Swindon case linked on the previous page is very much worth a read to understand how the process works and the considerations that go into deciding the sanction.
  7. There is a Hull kits account on Twitter who says he has been told that kits for the final were agreed before Semis, with the higer placed league finisher getting to wear primary kit. As such we'll be in home kit, and Hull will wear home shirt, but will change shorts from black to amber (so similar to when we were at Hull earlier in the season and wore home shirt but, changed shorts from black to white).
  8. We gave them the minimum required allocation of 2,000 so there were seats either end of the away section that weren't ever put on sale. The ones Kingsland side (in that photo) were left empty, so presume some Boro fans from the other blocks moved into them. The ones Chapel side were covered over with black 'level one' netting.
  9. Unsure. I am a season ticket holder with 0 aways, so my window started at 9:30 this morning. I joined the queue just after 9:20, got to the front and was let on to the site about 9:40, and then was checked out and complete with no issues at 9:45. Though thinking back, I wasn't already logged in. When I got to the front of the queue and was let on to the site I then had to log in. Might be relevant, might not.
  10. More numerous, plus the impact of the goal itself given it was basically point blank into an empty net. Opta have a total xG for Portsmouth of 1.66 of which half (0.885) comes from the goal itself with the remainder coming from 13 other shots. By comparison they have us at 1.18 xG from 6 shots, from which Leo's goal was 0.554 and Armstrong's missed one-on-one 0.421.
  11. You should be able to get it via the separate Sky Sports app I think.
  12. Hmmm. Don't know what the available EFL colour palette is, but name/number would have looked better in blue. With black they may as well have just gone striped back like the original.
  13. The Garmin sleeve doesn't look too bad I don't think. It's a bit jarring how much space it takes up, but at least it's not a big coloured sticker like the last few years (admittedly a low benchmark to clear). One thing that did pass me by in the original announcement was that as well as training kit, Midnite are on the back of the shirt and shorts. Didn't think the shirt back logo looked great at the Eastleigh game. Seemed too high up as was pretty close to the bottom of the number, and it was black which is inconsistent with all the other bits on the back being red.
  14. The one I ordered for my kid turned up today as well. Mainly got it out of curiosity of what it would be like and if it would beat the reveal. My main observations: The crest looks alright. On photos of Chinese versions I've seen in the past couple of years it's often looked a bit off. Hard to explain, but the material feels a bit different to what I was expecting. Maybe shinier/cheaper. The difference in shade of red between stripes and arms/shoulders that has been noticeable to different degrees in previous photos is because the body of the shirt is white fabric with the red stripes added on, where as the red on the arms/shoulders is red fabric. It will be interesting to compare to the real version when revealed to see whether the bottom two points are consistent, or if just present on the Chinese version.
  15. I've found that searching for random player names will find more results than the team/city name.
  16. Abu is a free agent in a few weeks so may not even be here.
  17. The only way I've found is to pretend you're going to buy something (like a stadium tour), go to checkout, and on the first page of the checkout process scroll down and there is a tickbox for "use my credit balance" which has your current balance written next to it.
  18. I guess we should be goalkeeper shopping this summer regardless of their confidence in Bazunu as McCarthy (one year left) and Lumley (free agent this summer) are the other senior goalkeepers, so a clear need to refresh that department.
  19. The interesting bit will be what happens with the Northam. From memory, the Northam escaped the price rise of other areas under an 'early bird' option before the Championship season ended (and before specific prices for other areas were announced), seemingly as an inducement to get people to move to the new standing area. Will they maintain this or shift the prices up in line with other areas? The latter will be an interesting message to manage as will effectively amount to a relegation increase for everyone there.
  20. The app also seems to block the taking of screenshots. On iOS if you take a screenshot you just end up with nothing but black.
  21. Somewhat unbelievably it's actually only two and a half months. He played 7 minutes away at Leeds last day of the season, and then 18 away to West Brom in the playoff first leg.
  22. That is exactly how it works. From the FAQ on the website
  23. Yep, got an e-mail and app notification at about 14:30 today.
  24. Good of them to offer the option to "Purchase tickets for both our friendlies at St Mary's for extra savings", which for non-ST/members offers an incredible saving of £0 over buying individually.
  25. Those wondering why a site inaccessible to those in the U.K. with a basic U.K. site operated by a separate company in Gibraltar are a sponsoring a premier league team need to give this a read https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-64662006.amp
