  1. If David Brent was a football manager...
  2. It feels to me that we have a young, potentially exciting team with some promising players.. Ramsdale, Dibling. Fernandes, Downes, Sugawara, Archer. Tall Paul (who knows) But they are being let down by a manager with a massive ego.
  3. Certainly If we had a different manager today we would have won?
  4. Lets see this season we have had brave defeats, unlucky defeats, poor defeats, embarrassing defeats, naive defeats, predictable defeats. Have I missed any out?
  5. Southampton 2 Southampton 3
  6. Times two then
  7. Commentator just said "Southampton asking questions of themselves"
  8. 2-1 up from 31% possession. Surely that is impossible Russ
  9. He was telling him he should have passed it on that build up to our penalty.
  10. I disagree. How many times this season and last have we seen a Saints attacker in a good position turn backwards.
  11. Indeed. Does RM not see the fact that the goal came from Dibling doing the opposite of his philosophy
  12. You've misunderstood the point. The comment was aimed at the fact that Onuachus performance has absolutely diddley squat to do with Russel Martin
  13. Saints level, no thanks to Martin's dangerously psychotic obsession with possession. The Liverpool goal was due to overpossession. The equaliser was solely down to dribbling Dibling ignoring the pass pass pass mantra
  14. Because they are stable with good ownership
  15. I wouldn't put him in charge of youth development
  16. And the last thing we need is scar tissue; just ask Russell
  17. Looks like Pep IS learning from RM
  18. He could be RM's assistant so that he can REALLY learn straight from the master.
  19. It would be the worse porn movie ever. Five hours of foreplay and then no orgasm.
  20. So, they did keep to the RM philosophy 🤣 ... were they brave tho'?
  21. Worse, in my opinion.
  22. Yes. Ramsdale saved us.
  23. In theory I guess but as there were 5 minutes left and Everton had to score they were never gong to hold defenders back for a 6'7" striker. A fast paced striker would make more sense. Onuachu is the type of player you bring on when you are 1-0 down with minutes left.
