I've seen some of the reasons that these infraction points are handed out for. What's the best one? Stamping on people's dreams? You may model your infraction system on the driving points scheme, but they're not really the same things. You repeatedly refuse to address the issue of profanity on here, and infract people for bs reasons, while letting vile little turds get away with some truly hateful stuff. Bearsy was the most amusing poster on here, bar none - you've banned him because he broke too many of these crappy little rules, yet fail to address the larger issues on the site. Go out on the public internet. Community moderation has been around for a long time. People have come up with more inventive ways to deal with dubious content than you've managed to conjure here, from +/- systems, poster reputation. Problem for you is that if you implemented any of them, you'd see how unpopular this decision is. Banned for a pun. Mostly harmless, and was already in the process of being edited anyway.

There is no being fair to Clegg. He's a political opportunist and I have difficulty believing anything he says. The Lib Dems, for all their bluster, are not conviction politicians. My thoughts exactly. A lot of game playing going on here. The real question is whether the Liebherrs feel qualified to replace Nicola Cortese. He's a known quantity that has proven he can run a football club and increase the value of their assets. They will be relying on a lot of external advice to make any appointment, with no guarantees that any incoming chairman would improve the situation.

I am something of a traditionalist. I'm not particularly a fan of reality TV shows, but as we see more of them, I do wonder whether the genre is actually maturing. I've just watched a show called Catfish, released last year on MTV. Nev, the show's creator, made his name by making a documentary about a dodgy Internet relationship he got into. He fell in love with a Facebook profile full of pictures of a very presentable young lady. Turned out that all along, he was talking to someone else. He ended up friends with both girls on Facebook. Catfish the TV show is on MTV, the channel that used to show music. It's actually very good, sympathetic to both parties, whether they turn out to be real or not. It's a weird alchemy of sensationalist drama and endearing sensitivity which you can watch without feeling dirty. I give this a 4/5 stars on the pap 5 star rating.
