Manuel Henrique Tavares Fernandes has had his medical in Italy and will be joining Pompey within the next day or two. He had previously failed a medical at Internazionale a few days ago. This has opened the door for Pompey to sign him on loan for the rest of the season. Apparently he is in Italy awaiting a flight to ratify his signing. Pompey had all papaerwork apart from his signature ready. F.A. will wait for player.

funny thing is no one batted an eyelid when he went to Ipswich earlier on this season. And 5 weeks ago we would have bitten anyone's hand off if they offered that sort of money. The most important thing is that both him and James did not go. James if he wants to go to the world cup will have to perform and is by all accounts willing to re-negotiate the deal in his contract however, its unlikely to come to that because the club will be out of business before he can complete 10 games

I have long held the opinion that we are basically fooked. Azougy was bought in to get what money he could out of the club before they all walk away and allow the club to die. The transfer money received will almost certainly be pocketed, we have an £18M debt to Balram Chainai aswell as all the debt to Sasha and HMRC etc. If the club is to fold it looks like we may have just enough left to be able to beat you on the 13th before we say goodbye and come back in another form lower down the pyramid

I am not able to divulge any details of this yet - alot of which has yet to be sorted out but things are happening should the 10th be end of game.
