Stage decisions by the club . I’ve been a supporter for 60 years . 76 cup final , recent playoff final + probably 1000s of games over the years . Despite now living in Australia I still get to about 4 games a year and I’m a member.So I qualify to purchase a Pompey ticket . I was trying online for about 2 hours to also add my partner a ticket . She’s never been to the UK in her life and I wanted soo much to take her to a Saints game . Anyway in desperation I called the ticket office explaining I can’t add my Australian partner and buy her a ticket . Hoping I was going to be helped and assisted in the process . The ticket lady explained that my partner didn’t meet the purchase requirements therefore is not allowed a ticket for that game ! What a nice way to treat a customer if over sixty years . Ive advised her she’s far better off anyway sticking with her favourite AFL team the Fremantle Dockers ffs ! All very disappointing and a bit embarrassing .

I’m going crazy ! I’m a member with past purchase history . Heading back home from Australia to see saints , family and friends. I’m trying to purchase a ticket for the Pompey game which for me is fine .However my partner is coming to England for the first time and I’m keen to get her to see the game with with me. trying to ad her / get a ticket is beyond me after over 2 hrs hr trying ! Can anyone advise me - is it possible to buy a friend a ticket to join you at a game !

Usual programmes over decades . Squad signed shirts .Individual match day shirts . Best is Matt Le Tiss worn long sleeve signed match day shirt from his last season and player issue brand new yellow unused unnumbered 2003 cup final shirt !

Love the lunchtime KOs 8.30pm for me in Perth Australia instead of the usual 11pm . Imagine trying to going to sleep after watching some of the crap we’ve been dished up in recent times !

Used to love the walk to the Dell from the Haymarket Tavern via Plested pies !

My three favourites 76 semi final FA at Stamford bridge when we filled the shed end and beat palace . The final itself when we beat Man U at the old Wembley . The championship play off at Wembley vs Leeds to get back into the premiership….travelled from Australia for that one !

The finance department will be pleased.Very good as a bargain cost option . Hopefully he will lean quickly on the job !

WS inherited a complete shit show of players . He probably had no idea how toxic it all was . Unfortunately the situation hasn’t improved much at all . A few of them don’t want to be at the club and don’t care less either . It will be the same situation for a new manager . We need to finish the complete overhaul of the playing staff in order to move on .

Nobody’s mentioned Knees up mother brown ! That used to be mental !

The investment priorities will probably be on hotels , entertainment, restaurants etc …long before any cash is spent on the stadium !

For the older fans among us . All clubs have had a traditional vocal ‘ end ‘ Pompey have the Fratton as an example. A decent home Northam end will / should definitely improve the atmosphere and can only be positive . Giving away fans 60% if the Northam has only helped our opponents!
