Just another 8 goals for Man U and Saints can march up the table.
-
Three points for Saints yesterday, or even just one, would have made that Everton win a little easier to stomach.
-
Pickford showing his class. Just him between Chelsea and at least a point.
-
Must be a while since a team were relegated with 40 points. 🤨
-
When was the last time one of our forwards actually, you know, did what they're paid for and score a bleedin' goal?
-
One year our end of season slump will coincide with a poor early and mid season. I wouldn't have much faith in this lot taking on a proper relegation fight. Ralph will have a lot of persuading to do if he wants to continue at St Mary's.
-
An example of how badly Saints have regressed is the performance of S Armstrong. Broja is a shadow of his earlier form too. What do the coaches do to the players that actually makes them worse?
-
As the season progresses Saints are actually getting worse. Palace were well worth that.
-
Well it would help if Saints could pass the ball. Only one winner in this game now.
-
Saints hardly able to string a couple of passes together. Palace worse than Saints in attacking third. Ref worse than both teams. Second half can't be any worse surely. With a bit of composure Saints could actually be further ahead as it happens. Odd game.
-
Now if Saints can just get the forwards to start scoring as well.
-
Brighton aren't even all that good but they don't need to be when Saints turn up.
-
All the best to Tino. Looked a bad injury though. Now back to the game. Saints lacking ideas in attack again. Get to the opposition penalty area and then pass back to FF.
-
Saints defence not even on the beach. It's all at sea.
-
Pansies.
-
Shane Long partnering Adams up front. I'd have preferred to see what AA can do.
-
How is it that players like Broja and Livramento arrive young, talented and fresh at the start of the season yet by the end look old, incompetent and jaded by the end? Just what is it that Saints coaching does to turn players like that?
-
Put in a similar performance against Brighton then I'd really have to ask Ralph whether he has reached his limit with Saints. Defence is a shambles ant the attack is toothless. It's been the case for weeks. Arsenal result was a stroke of luck.
-
Let's face it. In the last 10 games or so Saints have completely lost their way. This is relegation form and a lucky win against Arsenal cannot disguise it. Carry on like this and we'll be in trouble next season.
-
Sorry but at best Saints have stagnated. That was dreadful. Time for a new broom.
-
Saints 2-0 down and still continue to pass it across the back. No attacking intention at all.
-
Saints just not capable of applying any attacking pressure at all. It's as if they're happy to keep it at 2-0.
-
Saints completely outfought by Burnley. A better team and this would have been another heavy defeat.
-
Adams misses his chance again.
-
The way that opponents are able to stroll through Saints midfield is another worrying feature.
