Always used to think of a home game as one where we'd at least give the opposition a game, however good. For a while now we've tended to struggle for points at St Mary's and I find myself almost hating the place. Prove me wrong Saints.

Handed a golden opportunity to take an unlikely 3 points but instead the match highlighted Saints unimaginative attack and woeful defence. What a disappointment that they couldn't even take a point after playing an hour against 10 men.

Well at least Saints have a goalscorer in Ings on the pitch. Whether the endlessly slow and laborious Saints attacking build up will offer much in the way of opportunities is a different matter.
