Second half Saints certainly mixed it up a bit. Some playing out from the back along with some longer stuff and that'll help to keep opponents wondering what's coming rather than being so damn predictable. Attacking wise there was more potency too. Typical that Tall Paul should somewhat fluff his lines last night but get those crosses and long throws in and he'll worry opposition defences. All probably too late to save the season but I wonder if the players will enjoy having the Rustyball shackles removed.

It was refreshing to see Saints crossing the ball when in the attacking third rather than recycling it endlessly back to the 'keeper. Of course that requires attackers in the box. Maybe Tall Paul will get one go in off his arse to get him underway.
