Noticeable to me that in the build up to Saints 3rd and 4th goals the original good chances were fluffed, spurned & wasted, as is so often the case. Thankfully Rothwell was able to tidy up and apply a composed finishing touch in both cases. Something that has been missing somewhat.

I'm sick of this fannying around with the ball in defence.

Doesn't Rothwell knows he's supposed to stop and pass the ball back rather than drive forward?

Said we'd need three. There we are but not sure that'll even be enough with Saints defence.

The EPL is much less fun than the Championship but I still want to see Saints playing at the top level even if it means only occasionally sticking one on the corrupt so-called big clubs these days. That said, it's going to require a trip to Wembley to achieve promotion this season just so long as Saints can stop conceding goals in the play-off semis. All that to watch Saints get beat most weeks. 😬
