Sorry but this dreadful. Opponents just know how to counter this crab like stuff by now. Endlessly losing the ball in our own half won't help to win games. Even when Saints get upfield there doesn't seem to be much confidence or any plan.

"If we win 3 or 4 nil .... ". We didn't. We're well off the pace for automatic promotion and barely hanging on to play-off places after 7 points from 7 games. SR made it plain that that promotion was the plan but that's looking less and less likely when unable to see off cannon fodder at St Mary's.

Missed the game. Sounds like hard fought win but got to be happy with a clean sheet at last. must start to take those chances to kill off the opposition in games like this. Good week so far. Three points on Saturday will round things off just nicely so expect a scrappy 0-1 defeat. 😇
