  1. Thats my thinking as well, will be a bit thin on the bench though
  2. Why have we not added to our strikers during the 'loan' period ??? seems we are very short of options at the moment
  3. What amazes me is that delldays has put forward reasonable and well thought out comments and not posted anything that isn't factual, and even in some sentances has a sympathetic tone - yet all he gets is abuse and most of the replies are barely coherent. Ah well will just make it all the sweeter when the reality finally sinks in and we pass them in a few years time , provided they don't go bust all together of course
  4. That is a quality read - thank you so much for sharing PMSL they really haven't got a clue have they?
  5. There is much sense in this , why dwell on a period in SFC's history that is best forgotten. Markus owns the club now and would have much ealier if it wasn't for a ragtag bunch of people trying to scramble about to find funding, again I realise that this was ( on some peoples part ie MLT's) due to a desire to get the club up and running rather than make money, but the simple fact remains that we are much better off with what we have now than anything Pinnacle could have provided, if they couldn't stay united in their cause during a period of exclusivity god help the club over a period of 5 years. Again I lament the time wasted with tyre kickers when we could have had a decent pre season and be out of negative points by now with any luck , but again that is pointless as what has happened has happened. It is a shame that it made us yet another laughing stock - that bit right at the end with the businessman on skysports was shameful and smacked of desparation. Move on
  6. Well we'll find out today if he is included in the list of possibles for tomorrow I guess
  7. Thanks for all the relpies people, went through this at great length last night and he is keener than ever now. As soon as we can pick the right match re work etc we will take him along to the chapel - to hopefully start a life long obsession
  8. Mr Blobbly , she could slide down him no probs
  9. Very eloquent. You don't believe that the benefit chavs are infact proving Darwin wrong ?
  10. The cheeky girls

  13. I spend all my working life with these 'grasshoppers' who laugh and play and sing , and top up their mobile whilst getting pregnant after drinking too many bacardi breezers, wear gold clowns around their necks and stick 2 fingers up at authority and anyone trying to do what the squirrel does and it gives me some deeply troubling thoughts that I really shouldn't have regarding squishing them
  14. Bubbles, Michael Jacksons former pet monkey

  20. lol - its nothing to do with the cash mate it was more to see what others thought about whether it would be too overwhelming for him/too noisy etc Thanks for all the advice - the question now is which one do I pick to take him to - problem is fitting it in around work.
  21. Woke up at the crack of dawn and got dressed in his Saints kit then came running into the bedroom and demanded that I take him to a Saints game. Don't know what he was dreaming about last night , maybe that calpol is out of date I ought to check. Its tough doing my job and living where I do to get to many games each season and TBH I'd never even considered taking him as hes shown no interest up to now. It probably has been milling round his head since I told him he was named after MLT ( I told him not to tell his mother this) and showed him a compilation of goals on youtube. So would you take a 6 year old to a game? ( provided you are a parent and not some sort of weird internet type)
  22. I would love him to be back ASAP but Thomas has been a pleasant surprise - anyone know if he has shaken his knock off? he looked a bit wobbly towards the end on Saturday
  23. The same SSN tat said Saga was going to Notts county then
  24. ...............again , and not wishing to irritate anyone, before we all jump in the itchen - is there any actual official word on this at all, other than a line in the resies write up?
  25. Still absolutely nothing official
