Its a shame the "golf course" at Mayflower Park has gone, that would probably have swung it.

I only meant from the point we don’t have to sell, therefore have more control over comings and going’s

I’m not disputing Borja is having a dip, but the whole team is, 1 point from 12 isn’t all on him. During our good run we had a highly functioning midfield, that is not so currently. My belief is that Elyonoussi has seriously dropped off, but we do not have anything in the way of an adequate replacement.

He is a bit wasteful but the quality of opportunities he / they are getting is poor in my humble opinion. There was only a brief period in yesterdays game where we attacked with any pace or incisiveness, which lead to our goal.

The bloke ain’t a “bloke”

True, we have regressed a bit over recent games and strikers are feeding off scraps again. The build up play has become slow and predictable.
-
I have a feeling he will be off at the end of the season. I wouldn’t be surprised if we shipped a few out, it will be refreshing if we have more control over who stays and goes and who we can buy under the new regime.

I loved their “Autobahn” song

Could be the Genesis of new era at the club, although I'll be satisfied if there isn't an Exodus of our best talent.
-
Excellent, the stand out thing for me from those highlights was how many times he benefited from staying on his feet.

I guess blood loss just doesn't "cut it" as a body part, boom boom tsch

Sounds reminiscent of my trip to Anfield in '79, probably not quite as extreme as I'm still in possession of cock, tongue and intestines, but the rest of it is pretty accurate.

I had received my tickets Wednesday. I’m hoping for a good day out and the chance to experience a famous ground for the first time. I’m not expecting any kind of result for Saints, a combination of having achieved safety, some players being “on the beach”, others probably thinking about summer moves and the game being far more important for Leeds. I just don’t want to experience another Vila away day, where we were absolutely pathetic.

Sounds very likely

I didn’t see the game, how was KWP?

Good effort, like the half and half Feyenord kit also.

There was a poster named Twar on football he was such a bore he couldn’t wrong Not in his eyes but for old Toussaint he did make me snore

Our main areas requiring improvement are GK, Defence, midfield and the strikers, all we need to do is sort out those areas and I think we will be in good shape.
-
Strange way of judging him really, it's not really what he's there for, his job is to get the ball, run at goal and have a dig, as well as causing panic in the oppositions defence, I'm not sure which Armstrong you are talking about but if you are talking A and Che, you could argue they should be shooting more on sight than passing off responsibility.

I share your views, being able to bring on Foden and Mahrez illustrates that point. The gulf in class (wealth) made it us look like a plucky championship side having a good go at a team a league above. The PL is pretty toxic now with most teams just making up the numbers

True, henceforth I vow not to refer to Redmond as Deadmond.
-
The midfield is not doing its job at all, it’s providing little protection for the defence and not creating any good opportunities for the strikers.
-
Because he was trying to cover two players, deja vu Villa, Elyonoussi MIA
-
This is precisely the reason we do much better against the superior teams.

Maybe a bit of that, but I think teams have worked us out, even Norwich did to a degree, but didn’t have the weapons to exploit it. Other factors could be Broja’s head now seems to be elsewhere, Tino has probably been over used, particularly since his injury and we have no real pace to break the lines. Also, People always seem to gun for our CB’s when things go wrong, but I feel the defending problems are often a result of our midfield not functioning.
