  1. No, it's 500 left out of the initial 1,800, I believe.
  2. The side stand is seated, behind the goal is terraced. I doubt we will sell out the seating on the side. Only when you sell out the seating on the side do you get the open terracing behind the goal.

    Violence

It gets nasty when we play Pompey. Something usually always happens with Cardiff too.
  4. Bite.
  5. 1,500 would still be ****.
  6. That is absolutely ****ing ****.
  7. I pretty much ****ed myself when I read the first line of that song.
  8. I seem to remember most of the Northam being sat in the early days at St Mary's, and I don't remember there ever being much atmosphere from Itchen North either?
  9. I usually do most away games in a season, but I'm getting bored of them now due to our support being mostly sat nowadays and the atmosphere tending to be ****e from us. What do some people get from traveling that far only to sit there in silence and get up and clap when we score? How mind-blowingly boring.
  10. We've had pitch invasions. Sheff Utd at home, Burnley at home. Burnley at home there was actual violence on the pitch and there were no consequences for either club, whereas only about 100 West Ham fans jumping about on the pitch are getting all this coverage and media frenzy.. They'll just get life bans for those involved, a small fine and a slap on the wrist.
  11. The trouble away from the ground is nothing to do with West Ham as a club, and the stuff on the pitch was only celebrations, you didn't see any West Ham fans going over to the Millwall fans, they mostly stayed up their end. Tbh, if we had beaten Pompey in similar circumstances I would half expect there to be some sort of pitch invasion.

    Who was.....

a name like J Bizzle is far from casual.. it sounds more chav to me.
  13. Well I go with my Dad, who is exactly like you, so no, I don't have a problem with fans that take that approach. My point is, normally our away support is 10x better than it was yesterday.
  14. Are you the idiot that didn't give the ball back when Swindon had a corner?
  15. Vocally, I was ashamed of our support yesterday. Most of the time I was one of the only ones singing in the Stratton Bank.
  16. About Davis' distribution, I remember a low, long hard kick that put us straight through on goal.. forgot who got put through though, but it was a genuine 1 on 1 chance.

    Width

One thing that stuck out to me tonight was width. Swindon caused us so many problems getting wide with quick players that could beat their marker and get to the byline or put a dangerous cross in. They put the crosses in areas that got our defence turned and gave us something to think about. They looked dangerous with every ball they put into the box. Whereas we played Lallana out on the left who cut inside at every crossing opportunity and lofted a ball in from deep, which is such an easy angle for a defender to attack and head the ball away. When was the last time we had a genuine winger that could beat his marker, get to the byline and deliver a quality cross most of the time? The lack of width tonight meant we had no outlet ball either, which meant we tended to play backward a lot, or a long hopeful ball up field. Would be nice to see an out-and-out winger at the club soon..
  18. I'm sure most of our fans have heard/know of these songs.
  19. The two centre backs for Swindon tonight won absolutely everything.
  20. I'm sure as this is a saints fans messageboard that the vast majority of the population on here know the songs..
  21. We only sing about 2 of them.
  22. Just back myself, and I can only echo what others have said. That was ****ing awful. It is plain to see that we needed width. Swindon got down the flank and to the byline time and time again and got us turned and put crosses in to a dangerous area. All Lallana did was cut in and float a nice high cross into the box from deep which is easy to be headed away. No penetration either, ****e all round. For 3,000 saints fans there too, the atmosphere was pretty bad too. Obviously there was nothing on the pitch that inspired us, but the support was still well below standards.
  23. Anyone without tickets try buy in the home end! Would be good to see sections of Saints fans jumping up in their ends when we score!
  24. Are you taking your drum?
  25. I know we're away to Southend on a Friday night, which is on Sky.
