No one said it's as big as a first team game? Of course it's not. But it's still a chance to have Pompey at St Mary's for the last time in what may be decades and there'll still be the same hatred between the fans there. If people claim to hate Pompey as much as they do then they will hate the Pompey fans in block 31 for the youth game just as much as they would do the 3,000 of them in the ground for first team derby games surely? Just because there's a different age group of players on the pitch doesn't mean I'm going to despise that club and their fans any less.
-
Most staff and players in the first team treat derbies as any other game because the derby doesn't mean anything to them. What's that got to do with the fans though?
-
752 sold now. Caaam on ya b*stards.
-
546 then. Fingers crossed that blocks 1-5 sell reasonably quickly then we can get the rest of the Itchen opened up for sale. The Skates have been given block 31 which has a capacity of 600 but I saw somewhere that they apparently have an allocation of 900. I imagine if they sell out block 31 then other blocks in the Kingsland will be opened for them..?
-
535 tickets sold so far.
-
It's where I drink until about 2 by which point it can take hours to get served so we move on elsewhere.
-
Isobar or The Edge are personal favourites of mine.
-
Just got there first. Shame they can't just stick them next to us in the normal away end.
-
Pompey do have an away end according the the ticketing website. Block 31 in the middle of the Kingsland says "away section"
-
One I was thinking about was Shane Long. He looked quality against Villa on Monday night and works exceptionally hard so would fit in with our pressing..
-
I'd have thought they'd say something like 'The Northam stand will be open for away fans' or something along those lines. If any Pompey do make their way down then I'm sure the old bill would much rather stick them in their own part of the ground than have them out in the city centre somewhere.
-
No away end by the sounds of it.
-
I'm talking in general, there's only 2 or 3 songs that our whole end actually sings. There's pockets of people here and there singing other songs but they don't catch on to the whole end.
-
Would be careful making comments like this when our away support has been nothing short of awful at games this season.
-
This was 1 of 3 songs that we can all manage to sing at away games. OWTS, Pochettino song and we're by far the greatest team. Pathetic.
-
This forum never fails to amaze me. Spurs are probably a slightly bigger club than us? F*cking hell..
-
How do you rate our options upfront & can we rely on them?

Maybe there should be a naughty step in concoures where you have to sit for 10 minutes for being caught swearing. Maybe 20 minutes if you say the naughtiest word that you can say ever.
-
I'll rephrase then. When we inevitably drop back down to mid table, I am looking forward to not hearing all the top 4 stuff and the big clubs being classed as our rivals.
-
It's ridiculous. You should be able to say whatever you like at football. As you said, to many it's a way of releasing emotions and stresses throughout the week. When my old man first started taking me he'd tell me that I would hear swearing and 'rude' things being said and it was fine as long as I didn't repeat it or say any of it at home/around my mum. If someone goes to football and is offended by swearing, then I suggest that going to football isn't the hobby for them. A few lads in the furthest block of our end to the right got ejected towards the end yesterday, apparently for being abusive towards Arsenal fans. Oh no... At United I got ejected and whilst arguing the toss, I said to the head steward that if I had shouted over to the United fans and called them all stupid idiots or something equally as unoffensive and people were to complain about my language from the home end, would I be found and ejected for that too? The answer was yes.
-
I'm sure you know what I mean. I'm bored of all the top 4 talk and us looking at Utd/Liverpool/Spurs etc and their results as if we're going to be challenging them for league positions at the end of the season.
-
Obviously I'd rather we finished higher but the likelihood is that we will finish midtable.
-
Looking forward to being around midtable again which is inevitably where we'll finish, then all the idiots can shut up about the top 4 b*llocks finally.
-
What's happened to our support? Usual moan every week but we pipe up every 10 mins or so with OWTS and 90% of our support spends the majority of the game stood in silence.
-
Chelsea we would have sold 3,000 for if it was Saturday and not on TV. Man Utd was a sell out was it not? Bar about 400 seats to the left of the away end. Palace we will take the maximum allocation which is 2,500 I believe. Cardiff only give 2,000 I think which we will take close to on Boxing Day. Villa we will hopefully get the 3,000 again and should sell out as long as it stays Saturday 3pm. At Fulham we will sell out the maximum allocation again too.
