We had a relatively easy start compared to most of the league, and after spending the money we have which was meant to 'push us to the next level' we still can't beat 3 average midtable sides in Sunderland, Norwich and West Ham. Seems like this season will be similar to last. Somewhere between 12-16th I reckon. But on another day we may have won comfortably today. On another note, the atmosphere was f*cking awful. Feels like we're at the cinema for most of the game.

I don't go to away games. My 13 year old cousin uses my ST to go to away games and this ridiculous new ruling means he will have to buy adult tickets. Not happy one bit...

Has anyone on here got a kid who has a season ticket but doesn't do away games? If you could kindly provide me with their customer number, name and address then I would happily send you 20 quid. You would also have the privilege of your child having every away game for the rest of the season on their booking history.

Spoke to the woman on the phone and had to upgrade my ticket. Apparently according to 'premier league rules' the away ticket has to correspond to the correct age group that the season ticket is. B*llocks because I did it all of last season with no problem. It's probably just someone higher up at the club doing more penny-pinching. She said it'll be like this from now for every away game. I asked if I would be charged another booking fee but thankfully not, because I'd have gone apesh*t.

I bought a kids ticket for Liverpool and have also had a call saying that I can't buy one because the season ticket account is linked to an adult season ticket. If I leave it will I still get the ticket, or will they put it back on sale? Ticket office are a complete and utter joke.

I don't know why they haven't put it on the OS yet but I've just called the club and we've just sold our allocation of 5,000 out. Could have sold it out a bit sooner than the day of the game but half decent support nonetheless. I urge any Saints that were going to pay on the day not to travel unless you want to sit in the home end.

Looking forward to this. I have ticket number 13 so can't imagine we've shifted that many in advance. I reckon we had about 3/400 at Leeds in the league cup last season so hoping for about the same this time round. Huge away end so our support will look tiny.

You may or may not have realised, but I was joking. However the 'reception' that we did give him was pathetic.

We all say we hate him, yet when he came back with QPR last year, most people decided to not bother abusing him. It was very tame. He should have had bricks and stones thrown at him as he entered the stadium and shouldn't have been allowed to go home after the game until he'd been beaten black and blue and was begging to be left alone.

Although I will admit, would Nige have been able to bring Lovren/Wanyama/Osvaldo to the club? Definitely wouldn't have been able to sign all 3. I love the bloke to bits and he's brought us and me some of the best times we've ever experienced at Saints, and how Cortese treated him was absolutely disgraceful. Especially after one of our best results of last season away at Chelsea.

F*ck sake. Why can't the ticket office sort our tickets out properly? What's wrong with taking initial allocations if they're wary that we wouldn't sell out completely but then asking for more or the rest of the allocation when the initial one sells out?
