Yes. 100%. I have never known of anyone being asked to show ID at a turnstile ever before.

Ticket Details: Sunderland Away - League Cup

Absolutely livid. A lot of money paid out for our trains/hotel already and it's non-refundable. If someone anywhere has any sense and any conscience then they will be doing something to try help reinburse those of us that have been f*cked over by this. What I don't get is that they knew Sunderland and Newcastle were both playing the same night (or due to be) when they did the draw 3 weeks ago, so why 2 weeks before the game has it just been sorted out? Some way to treat your 'customers'. -
You went to what is one of the best cities in the UK for pubs, and ended up drinking in a restaurant? Not only that, you're choosing to go there again..
-
A lot of people go on about supporting their local side and not being an 'armchair top 4 fan' but then when it comes to their country they're not ars*d? Regardless of if your local club or country are sh*t, you still support them because they're yours.

Didn't know it was so expensive getting to/from London. -
The 'songsheets' were first handed out for the song the game after Huddersfield at Swindon. My only memory of the Friday night in Southend is singing the Lambert song for ages in the second half and thinking I was glad that it'd finally been kicked off properly rather than 2 or 3 people singing it.

Was that the game that got us off minus points?

12.53 from Kings Cross on Wednesday, arrives in Sunderland for 4.39 (£49.50 for adult and child) 14.06 from Sunderland on Thursday, arrives back at Kings Cross at 18.11 (£38.40 for adult and child) £88 quid in total but that's with me assuming your kid is young enough to get a kids train ticket. Then just add on the to and from London trains, should be a fair bit under £160. -

From London I think 2 singles came to about 50 quid. With a 2nd ticket (kids) that should come to under 100 for the 2 of them. Then whatever it costs to get to and from London. Can't see it coming near to £160. Use East Coast and book singles to and from Kings Cross and then sort out your Southampton - London/London - Southampton separately. If you walk in any newsagents, just inside the door there's flowers for £3/4 usually. If you'd like any more financial help, feel free to PM me. -

Train tickets aren't £160 quid. Also are you planning on buying your wife a whole flower shop? 40 quid!? -

Sunderland Central Travelodge is 40 quid in the which is what we've got. Helps cost when there's 3/4 of you in the room though. -

I am going. I was being serious. I am going you pr*ck. Bit hypocritical of you isn't it.. I seem to remember your comments about Middlesbrough away when we could have got promoted. Yeah, you remember. -
I miss those days. That Southend game was the first time the Lambert song properly kicked off I seem to remember.

There's not many better things in life than watching your side put out a reserve team in the early rounds of a competition that most clubs find pointless, at the opposite end of the country, on a Wednesday night. Go on, treat him. -

+£100 on us inevitably all drinking ourselves into a coma. -
Chelsea very likely to go to general sale at some point, I reckon, seeing as they will charge around 50 quid compared to Arsenal's 25.

Can't complain about the pukka pies at all. Once I've had one chicken balti then that opens the flood gates. I could eat about 5 of them.
-
Swansea tried a couple of times and gave up. Let's hope it carries on every game now. Start with the slow and then carry the quick bit on for ages.
-
F*ck sake. Can we please stop all this b*llocks?
-
I'm usually the first person to moan about our support but today was one of the best at home in recent times. Haven't kept OWTS going like that for a long time. Itchen North has been sh*t this year but we got it together today. Swansea fans were looking over at us for ages, presumably wondering when we were going to shut up. Reminded me of Bristol City at home in the Championship when we kept it going for ages too. If only we could be like that every week. Also how much space did we want to give Dyer today? They wouldn't have had half their chances if we knew how to deal with him. You'd think we'd have got closer to him after he tore us apart the first couple of times but we kept letting him get a run at Fox all game, who many moaned at, but he wasn't supported particularly well to deal with Dyer either to be fair.
-
On another note, I'm usually one of the first to moan about our home support but it was quality today, especially second half.

Only just decided to give this a go due to the sheer amount of people banging on about it. Is it available online anywhere?
