Oh my f*cking God. Someone on BBC news has just said this is all caused by the housing benefit system, the prison set up and how society alienates Muslims in France. People falling over themselves to excuse and be apologists for this. Sickening.

Try and sound as clever and knowledgeable on the subject as much as you like. It's not just a small section or interpretation of Islam. Look at the polls after Charlie Hebdo. Huge percentages agreed with and sympathised with the attacks. It is a widespread problem in the religion. It's backwards.

If SaintsWeb was a religious cult whose holy book was filled with hate and similar teachings that encouraged these sort of extremist beliefs, then yes, it would be to blame.

It seems to me like people are desperate to try and distance every single terror attack from Islam. I can imagine them sat in a dark room rocking up and down in the corner muttering "Nothing to do with Islam" to themselves.

"It's not religion" Head in sand. Until people realise it is EVERYTHING to do with religion then we are powerless to stop this at its roots. In fact it's not religion in general, as compared to what is happening in the name of Islam in modern-day, no other religion comes close. I don't agree with any religion either but each to their own. But when a religion is threatening, and is not compatible with, the whole of our civilisation in the West and is actively trying to disrupt it, then I have a problem.

Thing that makes me laugh is the backlash when this happens from people saying it wouldn't happen if we weren't bombing civilians in Syria etc. Do they really think we're just flying over and dropping bombs indiscriminately on anyone and anything?

It's only the believers of one very particular sky fairy that seem to be committing these acts in this frequency and manner in modern times.
