I'm going, from 1st game to last 16. It'll be fine.

Get a f*cking grip. Going on about protests and saying we're "definitely down". Bookies have us down as 8th favourites for the drop. They can look at things a lot more objectively than we can. Our 'fans' are half creating this situation themselves by getting so ahead of themselves and creating this toxic atmosphere which is clearly rubbing off on the players. Take a deep breath, get those pathetic Cortese quotes about Europe and top 4 out of your heads and start supporting this club like you're meant to.

Pleased for him yesterday. How about we now stop acting like children and actually get behind the team and him rather than stamping our feet and doing pathetic social media protests after poor runs of form.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

An "Aussie citizen with mental health issues and a drug problems" has just mowed down people in Melbourne. NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM HONESTLY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING -
Agree to an extent. Our fans have turned in to typical spoilt Premier League brats. 8th place and a f*cking cup final. Quality of football may not have been great but people going on about entertainment factor as if they've gone to watch a show or a film. If that's the be all and end all for some people then why aren't they going to watch City/Arsenal? Unfortunately it's a downward spiral now. Our 'support' has changed so much that we won't get behind anyone unless there's instant success and will keep hounding players and managers. Have said it before but I'm sure within the next few years we'll end up relegated again and it won't be the end of the world. We can shed our c*nty fans and get back to supporting the side and enjoying going to football again.

I can't even find a radio commentary. Not on BBC Manchester or Solent..
-
When we got promoted 2 years running and improved year on year too quickly meaning our fans are now spoilt expectant brats.
-
That'd work too, yes

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

It was a cracking day, and a huge turnout, more than anyone was expecting. To put deep-rooted rivalries aside for one day shows that people are waking up and taking the threat seriously. Minutes silence for the victims followed by a minutes applause for the emergency services. No St George's crosses/flags, no singing or chanting (apart from at one point), women and Sikh's speaking, and not a single arrest or problem all day. -

The Express article mentions it briefly. EDL turnout was tiny compared to the FLA march but gets most of the focus in the write-up. The Guardian article you've posted doesn't mention the FLA march at all. Neither does the Reuters article. Oh and neither does the Daily Star. Well done you. -

Attack after attack and this thread carries on the same way with people defending Islam blindly. Not all Muslims are terrorists but most terrorists are Muslim (in modern times before some c*nt starts going on about the Crusades or the KKK or something). Not all Muslims are terrorists but around 60% of British Muslims wouldn't report it if someone they knew joined ISIS. Where do we draw the line? -
'The Southampton way' jesus listen to some of yourselves. It's PR ********. There isn't a Southampton way, we are nothing special and never will be. Get over yourselves with these delusions of grandeur.
-
Oh f*ck off. We support Southampton. We are not a big club compared to the top 6/7 clubs in this league and never will be. If you want us to be some sort of super power in football then support someone else. It's not what we're about. It's the way of the world, clubs like us will always lose their best players to bigger clubs. The 'I want it all' mentality of our Premier League support is doing my head in. ANOTHER top 10 finish after losing our best players again and our support are crying and wanting the manager out. Embarrassing Arsenal behaviour.
-
GoPros on peoples' heads, tourists everywhere, 'fans' taking pictures of opposing players celebrating goals. F*ck me it gets worse by the season. We're slowly losing it. If this is what sustained premier league football is going to do to the club then stick it.
-
Huge. Let's lay off the negativity for 2 weeks at least. We shouldn't take days like this for granted as they don't come round very often. Cover that end of Wembley in flags and banners hung over the tiers, hang bedsheets over bridges on the M3 and make as much noise as you can. Up the Saints.
-
In most cases, Saints fans that travel away from home are the most loyal supporters. A fan having done 5 aways compared to a fan having done 5 homes is likely to be more of a fan. There are a number of people at work (Utd, Liverpool and even a Lincoln) fan who have season tickets just so they can watch regular live football. And they all have Wembley tickets. A points system would be the fairest way, and it's something that was promised.

Gabbi Gabbi Gabbi Gabbi Gabbi-adiiiiini From Napoli Our number 20 Karma Chameleon if you couldn't guess
-
How about just decking our end out in flags, messages on bedsheets etc like Cardiff 2003. Rather than the choreographed 'ultra' stuff suggested.
-
It's not for me.
-
What site did you use out of interest please?
-
You said before you're not renewing because of style of play. And now it's because you don't enjoy the day, which is fair enough. But not going just because of style of play is a poor excuse to stop going to football. Using first names, bit divvy, whoever you are
-
So really you're no different to someone who goes to the cinema or theatre. If you're not entertained you don't go again. That's the behaviour of a typical modern fan.
