Depends whether we rather would pay it in installments or can we only afford to pay it in installments. I would have thought we have access to funds but the chairman wants to run the club as a business to break even so wants to allocate the losses against the income we'd receive.

'our people' expect him to sign very soon basically. He didn't think hit woul happen before but there has been a major breakthrough and he's now expected to sign for us.

Davis will be fine this season. I don't know what you're worrying about, he wasn't that bad yesterday. Admitably he had a few shaky moments but it was a big moment. He's more than capable to do a job, and I really dont want us to go and sign Butland for £18m ridiculous money.

But that is what we used to do. Buy 3 or 4 players who arent good enough on the cheap, fill the squad with average players and then not had the quality to compete. Plus transfer fees seem to have gone through the roof recently anyway. something like £4m gets you a godo player in the NPC or one who is on the decline. £12m gets you one of the biggest young talents in europe with a potential huge sell on fee. I couldn't be more excited about this lad, will be a huge statement of intent and turn a few heads.

I would guess people originally booed him, then they clapped him when he got stretchered off. They're a bunch I tossers on that forum anyway, acting like they have a god given right to win very game and very reluctant to praise us, and a few of them saying we look like we'll go down.
