Goodwillie is absolutely dreadful. I'd say Lambert/Sharp/Rodriguez/Guly/Barnard/Puncheon/Lallana could all do better jobs than him.

True but surely this is more accurate as to what we should expect rather than one of highlights of the last few years. Thought there is also the issue of maybe he just didnt have a greaat game. We'd coach him into the player we want anyway, which is why we're going for these young players IMO.

I have no idea, but cant imagine he'd be willing to take a massive pay drop. One of my mates knows his girlfriend and apparently he's on 130k/week.

Is it though? Compared with Downing and Jarvis I guess it is, but seeing as though he's being paing over £100k/week it's not that much of a bargain. I guess it depends on how much the others are on.

Decent signing for them if he is still pretty decent, (not sure as I cant say I've seen him play for a few years). Always thought what he lacked in pace he was very good at reading the game. Him and Dawson at CB is certainly a step up from Gabbidon and Ferdinand. Hardly forward planning though and they are going to be in a huge mess if they get relegated anytime soon.
