  2. Maybe stevo she was batgaining with toy, was she of east youropean descent? I ask as they like to bargain and haggle. Maybe she thought that you'd settle for a 10 or a 9 at a squeeze but wanted to keep her cards close to her chest? You never know!

    Unite

Am I correct in assuming that most of one's Union subs go towards fighting other people's causes? No-one has been duped here, and forgive me not knowing all the minutiae of any particular case, but why let the headline writers push you into leaving. Leave because you don't want to be in ahe Union full stop, not because you don't agree with one particular dispute. If you agree with TU ideals then join, if you don't then leave. No offence mate, but seriously if it's a tough decision to make then I would suggest you stay in as for every dispute that hits the headlines like this one, there are hundreds more that don't. There are people out there who really depend on OUR support. I say this as someone who seriously was considering because of something that occured 'locally'. I'm glad I stayed in.
  4. You know what I meant smatarse. ;-) I registered for the lot, but not all for myself of course I hope by the time it comes around I shall have plenty people interested in attending this sport and leisure event. ``
  5. bros I sahall store that one away for future reference b, should you ever fall into a canal and I am passing and you require showering off, I shall be there soap in hand.
  6. Would you have settled for the pair of 7's and a pair of 4's thrown in to seal the deal?
  7. Not at all, not at all. The venues seem pretty well located actually b, some making for great free spectating like the cycling in Regents Park and the sailing down at Weymouth. If i could choose one single event to have a ticket to it would without doubt be the Opening Ceremony. In fact I will swap tickets to any other event should I obtain them for tickets to this.
  8. To my astonishment I have just discovered the venue for theis beach volleyball malarkey. Horse Guards bloomin' Parade!!! Well it won't be just the guards standing to attention for that one will it.
  9. don't forget the little disabled kids. I stand for pens fwiw, but I think it comes from the days at The Dell when I would bounce up and down in the forlorn hope that I would catch a glimpse of net moving signalling a goal. then we entered our darker days (post MLT) when I would stand for a pen as it was quicker to sit down from the standing position than to jump up and hastily sit back down following thr inevitable miss. By the time any visiting fans start to point and laugh and sing 'sit down, shut up' I would be sat quietly pouring a cup of tomato soup.

  11. Working up there must be one of the coldest, windiest jobs going. Definitely need two coats.

  14. ...and the ? You're just about treading water here b. 'fess up - feel good
  15. I sometimes don't quite know how to take you mrs b, seriously I sometimes feel like you are teasing me like one might a small kitten with a shoelace (or similar). 2012, would be so cool if that lad from Bishy can retain the Botcha gold, met him on occasion and he an extremely nice lad.
  16. What's your beef then?
  17. Is it really just me or does almost every single post by mrs btf have a hidden meaning?
  18. If enough SWF'ers register then we could, nay, we SHOULD have a swap shop when it comes around. Anyone got any idea where all the events are being held? Also, which events will be 8cough8 worth the most on the open market? I am guessing that the opening/closing ceremonies and things like 100m, but what are the big pullers?
  19. Wouldn;t wish to make too bigger thing of it s-s, sorry. Anyway, I take a 7. Have you any pictures and how much do you want for them?
  20. Beach Volleyball is only included to raise the overall spectator numbers imo, but in all seriousnes I reckon there'll be some good crowds all around if the weather holds out.
  21. So why mention 'shoes' in the title? You do confuse me sometimes s-s
  22. Smell a real banana and I sometimes have to walk away. However I used to love those sweet banannas (see sweet thread pics) and my absolute favourite milkshake flavour is.............banana. Explain that one then? Oh, and mrs b, re the banana at tea break thing, I can't even join in with the ever-funny "Oi! Oi! Nudge Nudge Wink Wink" shenanigans. I think it is a disgusting sight to watch a woman eating a herb suggestively.
  23. cute
  24. stevo, were they shoes or were they trainers? The thread title and the alledged conversation with a shop assistant don't tie up with me, sorry.
