Banana Banana Banana Banana Banana Not even had one touch my lips since a traumatic experience with one at junior school - never had one before that day either - tried a bite whilst driving the car last year (mrs h promised that I would love it having denied myslef 'the pleasure' for so many yeras, and I almost puked, my eyes watered and the mess slopped down my chin whilst she tried to mop it up whilst i struglled to maintain control of said car. They are filthy dirty horrible things imho. The only good thing about bananas is that every now and then the question comes up in a pub quiz about naming a fruit begining with 'B'. I always lol at those nutters who put banana down as a banana is actually a herb. FACT

Sad that he has been bullied at school for having the extra digits I reckon. Bat he can't half shift in the pool mind, maybe worth a punt on him winning gold in 2012 perhaps? Serious note though. The first mrs hamster had two adjoined toes on each foot. I never even noticed until we'd been courting for a few months but tbh I used to find them quite a distraction after that, in particular when they were (for whatever reason) anywhere within in my facial region. Coitus Intoeruptous you might say.

For those that have already visited, did you sense that those that perished were still present in some form or was it just your own knowledge of events that made it so eerie? serious question, i am interested to know.

Spot on JB re the mustard mash, in our house fortunately the grandkids have travelled widely and are not averse to sampling different things. They don;t always like everything put before them but they do at least have a taste before rejecting things. Mustard mash is a house favourite. Our other gk's (in Chatham) eat what their parents eat, decent wholesome food on the whole, but no real variety. We shall be travelling down to have a break with them tomorrow and have already packed a jar of stuffed olives and some camambert to eat straight from the oven with gert big dollops of home made chutney. As I write this I am amazed to think back to my own childhood, when money was short and there were seven mouths to feed, I would never have touched an olive nor considered any other condiments other than salt, vinegar and ketchup. Incidentally, ketchup was only on the menu for a day (two at most) after pay day as it was a treat.

ffft! Back on subject. Re the Colman's debate, I would now actually quite like to give it another crack, but not premixed in the jar. Anyone make their own from the powder? Any tips to prevent burning one's tongue?

can i just ask that people read post number 1 properly please. "What's your favourite mustard?" If you do not like mustard then I simply don't see why you even bother to post a reply! It's quite annoying actually and I think that I can speak for all of us mustard officianado's (sp) in saying that you are ruining a perfectly good mustard thread. Go away....please.

Agree with ryou RnR yank is ****, it's more of a mustard flavoured mayo. On my foot-long's down at SMS I generally run a line of ketchup down one side and a line of mustard down the other, I find it to be the perfect blend when married with the fried onions. You'd think wouldn't you that Harrod's mustard would be tantalising, but No! It is nought special and in fact, my jar has sat at the back of the shelf since christmas before last. On the plus side with mustard quite a few (nay, all) improve with age in my experience. I can't recall ever chucking a jar out actually.

/\ absolute tosh and you know it Dog. btw I bought a tin of Colman's which i add liberally to my own secret fajita/enchilada spice mix, it lasts forever and really does give it a hot yet pleasant edge. As for making it up into a mustard paste, never tried and never will. It doesn't taste of anything on it's own, it is just hot paste, made for nutters who know no better. The more I think about it the more i want to say 'Dijon'. Yes Dijon on the next one definitely, definitely Dijon.

Just had a ham sandwich and just could not decide which mustard to slop on it. I have a shelf-full of it. What's your favourite mustard? btw I ended up with a handful of cheap (the absolute best imho) coleslaw in the end!

They are only worth what they are worth TO YOU at the mo. In years to come they will hopefully be worth something to your kids and grandkids ad infinitum. Seriously Robsk, if you are in doubt then keep the lot. Different sport I grant you but my maternal grandad won loads of trophies, certificates and rossesttes for pigeon racing, my mum still has them in a box. I would be mortified if she decided to bin them. Your trophies will one day be a link to you after you've departed this world, can you imagine your great great great grandkids 100 years from now telling their mates how brilliant their grandad Robsk was at footie? Keep them all mate, for now at least. just my opinion but act in haste and all that....

This song should be Number 1. A fantastic song, music, message, group, venue, production, everything in fact. Such a simple message yet all encompassing and fitting to almost any situation from weddings and birthdays to christenings and wakes. Absolute genius and although we all accept The Beatles as the best band EVER, I don;t think we can really appreciate what impact they had on the World, the whole wide world. I think that they were sent here.
