When my digit was finally inserted into my ring, I carefully removed the souvenir wristband from my wrist (where else?), I scraped the mud from my (borrowed) boots into an empty dope bag and placed them in a time capsule along with 2 copies of the match programme for future generations of hamsters to drool over. Sad? Maybe Happy? Undoubtedly.
