To be fair Frank re the 18 million, they did have infrastructure costs, TBH back dated wages, and the the Stoke / Tottenham goalie money, plus new signings, so I think your 4 million is probably nearer the mark.

MALI hasn't gone anywhere

SFC is not a Mali Asset. SFC's company name is DMWSL613, which is the holding company for anumber of other SFC related companies. 100% of shares in DMWSL613 are still in probate (As of last years accounts)

That's what I was saying.....sort it out Duncan

The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..
Gemmel replied to SB's topic in The Saints
I heard the same about the Jemal deal, that right at the end, either the agent or the player wanted a big dollop of cash..... No idea wether it is true or not, but prior to that the deal was supposed to have been all agreed, with a green light -
The whole thing that would make any normal takeover almost impossible, is the money owed to chinny, of which the little snippet that CSI hadn't paid anything to date, gives us an idea it is around 17 million (I actually think it's a bit more). If we generously accept that the parachute payments cover the CVA and gaydamaks money (Based on lumpitts "I remain confident we can meet our financial obligations (regarding the CVA) ) then they are looking for a buyer who will; 1) Clear off chinnys 17 million 2) Pay off the additional 10 milllion debt to CSI or at least a % (Regardless of whether it is stolen or not, it is on the books) 3) Pay off all creditors under 2.5k 4) Pay off outstanding purchased players installments 5) Take on a wage bill that exceeds dwindling ticket revenue. So when you add all that up, throw in their chequered past, facillties and potential points deduction, it's not difficult to see that you would be better off buying another club. However, what if Chinny is the only CSI creditor? Most of their other companies don't amount to much, but they do have a fairly significant asset, in the WRC rights. So if chinny can get his money back through the sale of those, then you might be able to takeover pompey for a pound and take on their liabilities with parachute money to help out............... There are plenty of chancers, tyre kickers etc. that would go for that type of deal. Thats a complete guess, but the only thing I can come up with as to why someone would buy them. Probably well wide of the mark and the only value I have on the WRC is from corpy at 30 million.

No these are for the players they bought in the summer, that Lumpitt said were done on installments during his last web chat.
-
I don't think you are a million miles away, but suspect it has more to do with purchased players installments. If they miss one of those (Or our already late and getting pressure from the selling club) there would be no arguing any points deduction. Something changed today for sure, less than 5 hours after it was 7 - 10 days before they processed the application it was down to 48 hours to complete the whole takeover. When things move thsi quickly, there is a reason...... they may well have gotten away from any points deduction at all. Chinny is still on the scene...In my opinion

Let's just make it to the Premiership first

[h=3]pompeyblokeinoxford[/h]Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 12:13 PM News at last. I was a bit concerned because it has gone quite. All I want is a few years of stability, both financially and managerially. And would like to see a stadium that befits us. Cant think of anything else, for the moment You already have a stadium that befits you - perfectly

The skate boards are reporting it is paul duffen. But that would go against andriods claim it is someone new. Oh and Hull had his assets frozen last year, so as long as that is all cleared up...
-
As long as androids happy, that should be good enough for all of us. Whoever it is must have very deep pockets though, because as of February the cash goes flying out. The andriod, reckons they can just make Januarys payroll, so assuming the new guy comes in at the beginning of February he then has to find (in cold hard cash) The asking price of the club February's Payroll March CVA payment March Gaydamak secure creditor payment March Payroll Any Installment of purchased players 100% of all creditors under 2, 500k There might be some other skeletons in the closet to add to that list, but at somepoint the Lithuianian pensioners might want thier 10 million pounds back. So a bankrupt club, with dwindling crowds and reveune, facing a points deduction and dependant on loan players from other clubs, with a crumbling ground and no other infrastructure, is attracting huge amounts of interest.....makes perfect sense to me.

First season ticket in 1977/78 and with the odd exception been one ever since, But 2011 is probably my favorite ever year supporting Saints and for those of you who remember the early to mid eighties, will know that would have taken some doing. I don't think any of us back then, reliased the standards that had been set, both in football style and results and whilst football has changed enormously and we are comparing different leagues, what Adkins has acheived is nothing short of incredible. It's not just the results, it has been the football as well. Don't let a little rough patch overshadow, some the wonderful football we have witnessed. Football that would grace ANY premiership team and perhaps with a bigger club, would have had more of the pundits gushing. This isn't about individual highlights, this is the year as a whole and a year, that no matter what "Football Circles" you move in, when asked who you support, allowed you for the first time in a few years to answer with a smile on your face. None of us know what the rest of the season holds, but I will look back on this year as the one that really cemented the come back, a proud team coming togther after years of abuse, playing football the right way, but with a physical and steely edge when required. We re-signed ;layers that we would have lost in past and only sold others on our terms. I am delighted that we seem to be difficult to deal with, agents hate us and 10 million pound faxed offers get chucked in the bin without response. So for all the bedwetters out there, we leave 2011 top of league and start 2012 top of the league. We have witnessed more wins in this year (I will let the stattos confirm or dismiss) that I can ever remember and have smiled my way through most matches. Thankyou 2011 and Good Bye.

There's a certain irony in the situation, where android has to slash the wage bill during this transfer window, which means he almost certainly has to cull two of his biggest earners in Kitson and Lawerence...... You lot remember these guys. They are the two signings he sanctioned when he was administrator last time, when he smashed the wage structure, he had put in place the previous month and had based the CVA on, after assurring the courts, his model was viable.
