  1. Can't see wages being an issue this month for them. I think there was enough Lithuainian pensioner savings, left in the kitty to take them to the end of January.
  2. Because I don't want our nearest competitors getting the best players available and regardless of their financial position, we know they will pay him much more than we would.
  3. Confirmed by fat Sam. That ******* winds me up
  4. You seem to be deliberately missing the point, just answer this very simple question; why they let 500 people queue for two hours, knowing that they didnt stand a chance of getting a ticket
  5. I think you are missing the point. I go along with everything you have written, but the issue for me is why they let 500 people queue for two hours, knowing that they didnt stand a chance of getting a ticket - WHY?
  6. Don't disagree with that at all
  7. No if they had 150 tickets, they should have told the other 500 people queing that they wouldnt get a ticket and save themselves time and money..... It really isnt difficult.
  8. I got down there at 9.00 this morning and fortuneately met someone who had been there since six and they got me a ticket. The only reason I mention that is so it doesnt sound like sour grapes....I am chuffed I got one, but whatever the allocation was or wasn't the ticket office would have known what the amount was and the that the vast majority wouldnt get one. For those that were there at six, they got served at 9.30. I had stayed in the queue to see if I could get another couple and as UM said, it snaked round the Kingsland corner. A bloke from the ticket office came out (Dressed in a suit - so guessing he is the boss) at about 9.25 and would have known full well that 90% of people queing wouldnt get one......If people were joinging the queue at 9.45, why oh why didnt they tell the people in the queue or start turning people away. Players joing us tell us how this is like a Premiership club, the club tell us everything is set up for us to be a Premiership club and on a good news day the press tell us we are all geared up to be a Premiershio club, so if that is the case then why is the ticket office so badly run? Its a real shambles. Just out of curiosity, I wonder how much the car park fees were for the 90% of people who didn't get a ticket, had no chance of getting a ticket and spent two hours waiting to find out they wouldn't get a ticket......Are we really that skint
  9. sssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Nobody is supposed to know we are signing Liam Lawrence
  10. Based in Eastleigh! Find a girl who works there, they get huge amounts of discount.
  11. Vacheron Constantin - Tour de l’Ile Err ok.... a Longines something or other
  12. Not really sure I could see Nigel Adkins & Cortesse, sat round a table with Dave malone & Iain Baird :)
  13. Ok, which ***t owns this ; Brand new Range Rover sport in Louis Vuitton colours (Same as the one below) (Can't believe their are two on the same planet) but with addition of fantastically classy pink and white stripes and N . J . H emblazzened on the bonet. The reg was something HUT. Now I am assuming that only a footballer or lottery winner could be so ******* stupid and thick, to think that was cool and actually have the money to buy one, but can someone just assure me this isn't one of our players?? (Initials suggest not)
  14. If you didn't enjoy that or think we were very good, "Football" might not be the sport for you and certainly "Saints" aren't the right team for you. I'm afraid that is about as good as it gets. We totally dominated our opposition, created numerous chances, scored two goals, played some fantastic football, limited them to three very weak (Never going in) shots on target, were always in complete control and bossed the game from start to finish and tactically were light years ahead of them. I worrry for some of our fans, what we are seeing right now is as good as we have had it or likely to have it for a long time. Just enjoy...... Oh and we were brilliant today
  15. I'll have a pint of what he's drinking. Guly certainly didnt control the game. However, he scored both our goals and we won. So it's hard to criticise, but without those two headers, he wouldn't have got more than a four out of ten
  16. Broke down in training
  17. Dune is correct. I think a good example would be Ruper Lowe (Who owns a farm) as the type of farmer Dune is talking about. I am from the country and have never met a real farmer or man of the land that is anti hunting. I am fine with people that don't agree with it, each to their own, but 99.99% of the anti stuff is born out of ignorance and whilst it is a cr@p example (Blame the red wine), I bet all those against, have posts on the iraq threads saying it's nothing to do with us, we shouldn't get involved, different cultures etc etc. well in many ways the same is true for hunting. Christmas rant over
  18. So they wanted to take the 80k a week Wayne Bridge on loan eh? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7394037/? I hope Santa brings me a new calculator for Christmas, because the one I've got can't get these sums to add up. They've learnt nothing and continue in the same vein. that racked up 130 million worth of debt.
  19. You thick, trolling, freak. As you pointed out Norwich are in a different league than us, so the only relevant comparison is when they successfully acheived promotion (Direct from League one, just like oursleves) from the Championship last year. This is the table from last year; http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2010-2011/table/2010-12-26 So against the Norwich model, we bought in more players over the summer than they did this time last year (Which seems to be your latest gripe) and we are doing significantly better than they were this time last year. Which bodes well..........wouldn't you say. The Norwich model, that you advocate, shows us to being in a better position than they were, so am glad that recognise, just how well we have done and are doing. I hope you teach pre school kids, so there is enough time in later life for intelligent teachers to undo the damage you undoubtedly cause.
  20. Are you seriously a teacher??????????????????????? What has Norwich being in a higher division got to do with anything I posted?
  21. If you really want to use Norwich as a model. Look at how many new players they bought in over the summer after they were promoted into the Championship and where they were at the same point this year. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/league-championship/2010-2011/table/2010-12-26 As you can see we bought in more players and are doing significantly better than they were. No one would question that Lambert hasn't done a good job, he has and so has Adkins.
  22. Isnt that exactly what we have done? We are top by the way, seems Adkins might be a little better at it than Lambert. But of course you could always compare Adkins stats to hoddles..............Oh
  23. I think they have bigger worries than bringing in more loanees in January. Those bank files are very delicate and if someone is careless in the bank and loads the wrong file at the end of January, all hell could break loose. If I was lumpit, I would be down there to personally oversee the whole thing, to make sure nothing goes wrong.
  24. corrected it... it was venison sausages, that weren't venison sausages
  25. Many moons ago a shop in lyndhurst got done for selling venison sausages ...... that weren't venison sausages
