The worst ever was the Northam singing "Chelsea Chelsea" at the Man U fans in the Cup a few years back when Mourhino was winning everything. I nearly died of embarrassment.

Adkins has done well in his first year, but now faces a real challenge to show us the depth of his skills as a manager. I worry about the distinctly vapid, tedious managmentspeak he trots out week after week in public. Does he do the same with the players prematch, half-time and post match? Not exactly inspirational or Churchillian after the 58th time of listening...and perhaps is indicative of a wider lack of imagination and ideas. I hope I am wrong.

The whole England thing in that era was a corrupt nepotistic jobs for the boys club. If you weren't part of the in crowd clique forget it. Now,, international football is dying the world over, a succession of dreadful world cups and Euro tournaments, combined with the glamour teams like Brazil etc losing their mojo. Its all about Champions Legue and Barca etc now....

Puncheon was class when we crushed the life out of Norwich at Carrow road last time. He is in a way, Saints' answer to Balotelli. I don't like to be smug but I did predict his second coming and that he would be a major part in our promotion push after January in the other Puncheon thread.
