Jesus wept. I take a nap at 2-0 and wake up to this. Sack him.
-
Irritatingly, looks like Liverpool have unearthed a great manager in Slot. Got real charisma.
-
It is but I don't see them acting before then.
-
Everton (H) or Wolves (A) will be the guillotine games.
-
This multi-club franchise thing is absolutely soulless.
-
Bloated squad of no-marks, over-the-hills, crocks and journeymen.
-
Most unlikely to get sacked after a loss to Arsenal, because the defeat is expected. Everton or Wolves look more like guillotine games. Anyway, the Arsenal chap at work says we re their bogey team so we might pull off a surprise today. Looking at the line-ups, er naaaah.

Promotion flattered to deceive. Need a new guy ASAP. God knows who will come here though.

Sack him.

Agreed. There ought to be an option that clubs can win promotion and enjoy the day but elect to stay down and pass the promotion to the next cub down the rankings. No fun being whipped every week.
-
Indeed. Pray, what are these "transitions", "the press" and "channels"? Are they when the other team get the ball, someone runs toward an opponent with the ball, and the direction in which a slide-rule pass might have once been played?
-
Oh dear. I hate this league.
-
Big chance to get lift-off today.
-
Wasn’t Martin a defender? Why can’t he sort our defence?
-
I fear that the best we can hope for in the next few years is yo-yo club status. The new Norwich.
-
Even an out of sorts Man United seemingly cruise to a routine win on the south coast.

Who was the last signing that genuinely got you excited?

Keegan. -
Got a feeling we’ll win here.

^ totally agree On another note: KWP has been head and shoulders our best player for aeons. Arguably the only genuine Prem standard player in the squad. He should be given the freedom of the City for his loyalty quite frankly.
-
It’s got to be said that we scraped promotion last season. Not as if we romped home. We have barely strengthened, have the same painfully obvious managerial flaws on show. The comments above about trying to be too clever are accurate.
-
Welcome to the Promised Land of the Premier League. It is an exercise in futility for clubs of our size and means.
-
This is the sort of game we have to win to have a hope of staying up.
-
Normal service resumed from last season then…
-
BBC has us on 63% possession. I’m surprised reading through the thread.
-
They cut us open defensively. Williams unmarked repeatedly and we were lucky he didn’t get 2 or even 3. Basic fault.
