  1. Saying "AP picking Lallana and Morgan is the same as Burleys refusal to drop Wright" is a factual statement.
  2. OK, sorry for getting so confused, but it's easy when people post their opinions as fact.
  3. No, but we are not the finished article. You're bringing me full circle here - we are still rebuilding.
  4. How do you know that Lallana and Morgan are not part of what he wants to achieve? And if they were playing poorly I have every confidence they would be dropped. But they are not.
  5. Maybe because Lallana has been one of our better players, and as for your point about Morgan he HAS been dropped, have you forgotten the games where we played Wotton/Hammond/Gillett in the middle?
  6. Fantastic. But yesterday he was our best player. He has also turned in great performances in a few other games this season.
  7. Have you seen what Alpine just posted? I was replying to him.
  8. I'm sure there are plenty of teams in the Football League who have avoided relegation and then got promoted the next year.
  9. But why does Saga avoid criticism for a "dysfunctional midfield"?
  10. Agreed, especially when you're trying to get on a motorway at speed and you have to slow down and change gear because someone is crawling along the entrance.
  11. I read it as "before the game I felt we should win".
  12. And yet you are "concerned" about Lamberts performances so far.
  13. Hello? People at the game are saying he was our best player today. People AT THE GAME. People AT THE GAME. People AT THE GAME.
  14. From the short highlights on the Beeb it looked like we were unfortunate to concede and fortunate to score, so swings and roundabouts etc.
  15. Delldays, if you want to think that Lallana should never play up front for us again based on a MOTM performance then you go right ahead.
  16. With regards to Lloyd James we all know he is a poor RB, but let's not forget he is also our third choice. In league one you cannot afford the luxury of having too many back up players.
  17. Delldays, you said that Lallana is a deffo no for you up front. Well he played about 70 minutes of the game today up front and now most people who were at the game are saying he was our best player. It's really not difficult.
  18. Personally I think we play a lot of long ball, but there ya go.
  19. A bit harsh to blame our scoring problems on a player that young. Also I don't quite know what you mean by he is showing that he's a fullback, as he has been one of our best players so far. He certainly stays wide and attacks down the line more than anybody i've seen so far this season, which is what you're asking for.
  20. Both. We haven't got enough creativity in midfield and up front Lambert is having to do everything on his own (ala Torres at Liverpool, difference being Torres is a world class striker) therefore he cannot get the chances on goal like he did at Rovers.
  21. Exactly. I don't spout out the "lucky to have a team at all" line because it's stupid, yes we ARE lucky but that has no bearing on how we do AFTER we are saved. However, we are still rebuilding due to a short amount of pre-season with Pardew.
  22. Mills doesn't deserve to be dropped IMO, he's been one of our most direct and dangerous players so far. I kind of agree with regards to N'Diaye, but I think he'd be more effective up front.
  23. That's because we have not finished rebuilding, as the defence needed a complete makeover and we didn't have a lot of time in which to do it.
  24. No, but as Scummer said, we are now hard to beat. It's a good f*cking start after the last few years.
  25. No, but we have been progressing. What's difficult to understand about that?
