  1. Hello? People at the game are saying he was our best player today. People AT THE GAME. People AT THE GAME. People AT THE GAME.
  2. From the short highlights on the Beeb it looked like we were unfortunate to concede and fortunate to score, so swings and roundabouts etc.
  3. Delldays, if you want to think that Lallana should never play up front for us again based on a MOTM performance then you go right ahead.
  4. With regards to Lloyd James we all know he is a poor RB, but let's not forget he is also our third choice. In league one you cannot afford the luxury of having too many back up players.
  5. Delldays, you said that Lallana is a deffo no for you up front. Well he played about 70 minutes of the game today up front and now most people who were at the game are saying he was our best player. It's really not difficult.
  6. Personally I think we play a lot of long ball, but there ya go.
  7. A bit harsh to blame our scoring problems on a player that young. Also I don't quite know what you mean by he is showing that he's a fullback, as he has been one of our best players so far. He certainly stays wide and attacks down the line more than anybody i've seen so far this season, which is what you're asking for.
  8. Both. We haven't got enough creativity in midfield and up front Lambert is having to do everything on his own (ala Torres at Liverpool, difference being Torres is a world class striker) therefore he cannot get the chances on goal like he did at Rovers.
  9. Exactly. I don't spout out the "lucky to have a team at all" line because it's stupid, yes we ARE lucky but that has no bearing on how we do AFTER we are saved. However, we are still rebuilding due to a short amount of pre-season with Pardew.
  10. Mills doesn't deserve to be dropped IMO, he's been one of our most direct and dangerous players so far. I kind of agree with regards to N'Diaye, but I think he'd be more effective up front.
  11. That's because we have not finished rebuilding, as the defence needed a complete makeover and we didn't have a lot of time in which to do it.
  12. No, but as Scummer said, we are now hard to beat. It's a good f*cking start after the last few years.
  13. No, but we have been progressing. What's difficult to understand about that?
  14. Unfortunately Delldays you can't see the progress for yourself, so you have to rely on being told.
  15. The transfer window is shut, what do you want him to do?
  16. By the end of next summer. And from what i've seen we HAVE been playing well - last week V Yeovil was an exception, but we won anyway.
  17. We have a defence that any team in this league would be happy with. In midfield and up front we are still not strong enough. Hence, we are still building.
  18. But we are not finished rebuilding yet, that is blatantly obvious.
  19. Lol @ this post. I'm not sure why I come to this forum, as it's certainly not for the well reasoned and unbiased discussions.
  20. A few seasons ago Derby scored right at the end against us to win the game. Did people think Billy Davies was a lucky manager? No, they thought he was god and that he had done brilliantly to get his team in such a physical state that they could score so late on.
  21. Get in, we keep our unbeaten run going.
  22. Get in there.
  23. To your stubbornly unchanging opinion that he is useless.
  24. Terrible commentary - "AND A GOAL.........ward header by Lambert".
  25. Ahhhhh come on Saints, Schneiderlin sounding dangerous as well.
