  1. Agree with Musesaint. He's been shocking when i've seen him, but I assumed i'd just missed something as he is our top scorer. But when Pekhart came on I could see that McGoldrick was just crap.
  2. For some reason I find the fact we are calling Pekhart a nipper quite ridiculous - he's a f*cking monster.
  3. I said this after the first game.
  4. Saints 3-0 Ipswich. COME ON YOU SAINTS!
  5. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=10613 Interesting how he is putting emphasis on his future with Southampton. "My future will be bright with Southampton" etc.
  6. Is the red circle one only meant to be the guy on the left?
  7. Is it just me who reckons they only wash the lens every 100 days?
  8. Nope, because they have no pace. James has cost us at least 4 goals so far this season, Surman at least 2.
  9. Pahar's team played tonight (Amorthosas or something). EDIT- just checked Wikipedia and he was released in january 08. Nevermind, eh.
  10. Awful player, couldn't understand it when people were saying he was who Spurs were replacing Berbatov with.
  11. For me Pekhart needs to start instead of McGoldrick. He looks a better finisher and more of a threat in general. As for the defense, the main problem is on the wings - Surman and James just don't have enough pace to play there.
  12. I too don't really get the Dunkirk analogy. It's not like our club is going to become a German speaking racist war machine if we get relegated.
  13. It's a fair enough view to take, but would it have been fair to ban Martin Taylor for 12 games or more? Yes, if he meant to break Eduardos leg, no if he didn't. It's too fine a line for me. It's not exactly a unique case - just stick to the rules and give him the three match ban, otherwise you will get clubs screaming for players to have longer bans all the time.
  14. He's scouse and young, what do you expect? He will calm down.
  15. What they need is a win by 2 or 3 goals over a decent side (Wolves, Reading, Sheffield United etc) whilst outplaying them to give them the belief not only in themselves, but the system they are playing.
  16. One.
  17. They were, but to say we were silent apart from two times is ridiculous. Where were you sat? The people immediately to our right could obviously hear us, as at one point there were about 8 chants going back and forth - brilliant banter.
  18. They are f*cked. It's a shame as I was born there, and would like to have seen them do well. God only knows what went wrong, they were on the up for the last 5 seasons.
  19. What a bunch of retards they are. "Now Keegans gone, my life is ruined". F*cking mug. Does anyone else remember that fan who said, when Keegan signed as manager; "we've captured the hearts of the nation". Actually you northern b*stard, nobody cares.
  20. Exactly right. It wasn't from behind, it was two footed, and he wasn't the last man. You see tackles like that every single week, and all they get is a yellow.
  21. Did he? I haven't read anything about the match, I just got home and went straight to bed.
  22. Vignal and Davies. That's it.
  23. Definately stick with Holmes. He's done nothing wrong.
  24. I thought we matched them in most of the play, but once we got the red card (which was a yellow - it happened right in front of me) they just hit us on the break and we were completely overrun. James' lack of pace was a big point in this game. However, the most worrying thing for me is now Poortvliet - i'm losing confidence in him fast. Why no Perry? Why did we play worse in the second half, like against Blackpool? Not once this season have we come out after the break and played better, and ultimately that is down to the manager. F*cking awesome goal by Lallana though.
  25. Tbf there's a massive difference in as much as LOTR was already written.
